Just a little note from your friendly neighbourhood dictator: all posts not to do with links have been removed (generally deleted, but the little discussion about the Whitlam decision has been preserved elsewhere).
Posts containing links will be soon-ish as well (and all links will be added to a new post, probably sorted by country and so on).

Of course. It's just that other things have a nasty habit of getting in the way. If you post links in this thread, I'll probably add them to the main list quite quickly.

May I be permitted to start a forum thread entitled "Politics of Welsh Councils" and list the composition of Welsh councils since 1995 (including by-elections)?

You can start any thread you like and call it what you like. If you're doing council composition stuff, I've got a reasonably large collection of old Whitaker's Almanack's somewhere and can give figures (though not changes caused by by-elections) for earlier years.

I think we need more maps of places that aren't European or Anglophone. I'll get maps whenever I can put my hands on data.

Yeah, agree absolutely. There's quite a bit of electoral data for South Asian countries online, but few maps of the sort we do here and (as far as I know) no good ones.
