American Labor Party - a lot of poor minorities and SEIU types. Maybe takes in the few remaining scoop jackson type dems. Very much a "jobs not cuts" type of party. Borderline socialist and I think someone like Liz Warren or Raul Grijalva would be representative of this party.

America First Party - anti-communist, anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-immigrant, anti-UN. Believes that there is a conspiracy of elites who want to open up the borders and to indoctrinate our youth. Believes in some conspiracy theory about the Council of Foreign Relations, the Frankfurt School, or John Dewey. Kind of similar to the old AIP.

Postmodern Party - mix between the few remaining Rockefeller republicans and "new democrats". Generally tough on crime and supporting of the death penalty, but also supporting  marijuana legalization, the environment, and strongly pro-choice. Generally more technocratic and pro-free trade than the ALP. Maybe also attracts what I call the "South Park republican" demographic.

American Torie Party - sort of the traditional wing of the GOP. Base would be mainline protestants and mormons. Sort of the IBD, WSJ COC wing of the GOP. Not hard core libertarians but generally the more "monopoly mustache guy" of all the parties.

I would have a hard time mapping this... the left-wing parties could end up splitting the vote such that the Tories could win in a place like New York, no?

In such a party set-up, I can't see the Postmodern party being pro-death penalty and "tough on crime". In a four-party system, you should have at least one, probably two parties with strong civil liberties / privacy focus, which would also reflect on stuff like wiretapping, using cell phone data for tracing past movement, etc.

Blue- Liberal Party
Red - Labour Party
Green- Progressive Party

If no party reaches 270, instead of going to the House, the party with a plurality can ask another party to release their electors and have them vote on a candidate they can agree on. Perhaps the VP is from the smaller coalition party.

Mike Huckabee(N-AR)/Sarah Palin(N-AK) 24%,  86 EVs
John McCain(L-AR)/Mitt Romney(L-MA) 21%, 93 EVs

Labour would need to have an Appalachian Dem socon side to really get off the ground today.  With those platforms, the Postmoderns would sweep all of the big left-leaning states save for MI/MN.

I count exactly one left wing party and 2 right wing parties. I think the right would more likely have their vote split.

This seems like a weird 4 party system to me because it seems to be a 3-way split of the current Republican party, which is the smaller of the two parties to begin with.

The Labor Party also doesn't seem in line with socially liberal democrats who probably wouldn't even want to join the postmodern party either because of some of the socially conservative positions...

I don't think the America First party would be taken seriously enough to win any states, with all a bunch of conspiracy nonsense and all that.
