1960 County Results

I haven't been able to find county results for Pennsylvania for 1960. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

Although you can't see actual number results, you can generally see the picture. I believe you have to pay something to see actual number results for previous elections before 2000 on this site. I even looked everywhere on Google and I couldn't find anything on % results per county, just which counties were won by which candidate. Sorry

You can, actually. Click on Pennsylvania in the 1960 map, and a little below that click the link called County Data (Graphs).

Thanks man! Nixon won my county by more than I thought he would have. The coloring had me thinking he won with less than 50% when it was really less than 60%.

I find it interesting comparing the 1960 county map to the 2012 county map. It is amazing that most of the solidly Democratic counties in Georgia, Arkansas and West Virginia in 1960 are solidly Republican in 2012.

Well the parties are half different. The darkest red and blue states today used to be in their bases as well but the lighter states from back then have switched. It's also funny how many of the battleground states from 1960 are still close today.
