You know New York Express, I'm glad that you participate and put your efforts on those games but honestly, your posts, your answers and your asthetics are all below average. Maybe you should learn a little bit more of this when you play in the 2004. Take a look at my posts as Ralph Nader, Bob Kerrey and Hillary Clinton and take a look at Lumine posts! They are all great and beautifully designed. You seem to have ignored when I have sent you a PM in another day but now I'm making it public in order to show you that you have potential and that you can learn a lot. I sincerely hope that you read this!

The Daschle Campagin is asking for recounts in Wisconsin and Delaware... and updated numbers in Pennsylvania would be nice.

In addition Blanchle Lincoln will be speaking at 3:00 AM tomorrow, while Senator Daschle will speak at at 2:00 AM or when someone has reached 270 Electoral Votes, whichever comes first.

Seems I couldn't break through Daschle's electoral map the way I would have wanted, and at this rate I predict I will lose California as well, but this still looks pretty good to me!

President-Elect Quayle (those three words sound weird) will be taking the stage as soon as Alaska's results are released, as he feels it wouldn't be prudent to ignore any states tonight. The Quayle campaign also joines Senator Daschle's request for a recount in Wisconsin and Delaware, and it will ask for a request in New Jersey as well.

Senator Lincoln will speak as soon polls close in California and Washington, Senator Daschle will speak shortly thereafter.

In the Meantime, the Daschle Campaign will ask for a recount in Minnesota, and the Utah Governor's race, in conjunction with the Orton campaign.

I hadn't released the final numbers for Wisconsin and Delaware, but, hilariously enough (SPOILER) they are, with Minnesota, the closest states. There's another state whose polls haven't closed yet and could go either way depending on your reactions during the electiion night. I will be updating this tomorrow Wink

Daschle HQ- Concession Speech

While there are still recounts, in progress, the reality is that even if we win every recount, Vice-President Quayle will still win... Therefore it's time for me to concede defeat, in a race where Voce-President Quayle has proven everyone wrong, has shown he can run a winning campaign. It's time for him to show he can govern, and after what I've seen on the campaign trail, I think he just might be able to do it.  In addition, The Democrats will be getting a new leader, and South Dakota a new Senator, as I will resign from the Senate, effective on Inaguration Day. My party does not need a wounded leader, and South Dakota deserves new representation.

Lincoln HQ

We had an excellent run, but all good things must come to an end. I think the most positive thing we can say is that despite all the missteps, all the chaos, we never were truly out of it. As of today I am not running for Re-election in 2004, however that decision, remains open to change. As Senator Daschle said earlier, Congratulations to President-Elect Quyale, and also Congratulations to Vice-President elect Powell.

OOC: This game would have made for an interesting timeline, xD

"We did it! Thank you! Thank you very much! My fellow Americans, I am absolutely overwhelmed at the results of this election, at seeing that, despite what many thought and said, the results show our party returning to the White House, with me and General Powell to lead the charge. And not only that, but we control Congress as well, so you can expect me to work as hard as I can to pass the agenda we have been working on for the past few months, an agenda that we hope will send the United States of America to its rightful place at the head of the 21st Century. You have put your trust in me, and I will prove that said trust is in the right place.

I saw Senator Daschle and Senator Lincoln's comments, and I want to thank them as well for being gracious and challenging adversaries. The four of us fought a truly active and dedicated campaign, and while I'm sure this moment must be hard for the Senator, his family, and his supporters, he did a great job, and I'm glad to have shared these months in the campaign trail with him. He is right in the actual results not being clear enough, though, and despite having secured victory I believe the American people deserve to have clear results. I will call for a recount on Wisconsin, California and Oregon, and I hope these recounts will be carried in the most swift, transparent and efficient way possible.

This is truly an historic night for another reason as well, and I want to take the time to celebrate this as it should be celebrated. Tonight America was going to make history by electing either Senator Lincoln or General Powell to the Presidency, and I am more than proud to announce that General Colin Powell will be the first African-American to be elected to the Vice-Presidency, and someday, hopefully, I will be able to witness him as the first African-American President. The America of 2000 and on has changed from the world I saw in 1990 as Vice-President, and this new world has new challenges, new issues, new ground to cover. Let us all come together, and start working to build this new America of ours! (Applause) Thank you, god bless you, and god bless the United States of America!"
