We are both committed to seeing this through to marriage and are discussing what our household will be might be like. 

Yesterday, I will have you all know, in the 8 hours that were together, we made only one mention of a possible wedding date and that was toward the end of the day.

anyway dude as much as people are picking and prodding you as usual, it's hard not to see Allison as a positive development for you.  sure, you're not making ideal or even roughly-rational choices with your time or life, but you weren't likely to with or without a woman, and this woman seems to not mind and even endorse such extrarationality, so, God bless.  a partner in crime is never a bad thing if the crime is presupposed.

Yesterday, I will have you all know, in the 8 hours that were together, we made only one mention of a possible wedding date and that was toward the end of the day.  Apparently, that 2015 (specifically June 6, 2015) date is more than just a wish at this point.  It appears to be the goal.  That topic lasted all of 3 minutes.  Then, for 5 minutes at the very end before I let her out of the car we made plans for Dates 3-7.  So, for 7 hours 52 minutes of the 8 hour date we were focused on Date 2.

So you were able to discuss the very complicated issue of the goal for a wedding date in 3 minutes?  Was this before or after the 5 minute lecture on all there is to know about string theory?  Doesn't the short amount of time that it took you to set a goal seem weird to you?  My girlfriend and I have been dating 2.5 years, and we haven't set a goal.  We've talked about the fact that we wouldn't want to get married before she's done with Basic Training, but we haven't set a goal of a certain year.  And we certainly weren't talking about being married after 2 dates.  How can you know she's "the one"?  How can you even think that you know the "real" Allison yet?

And what happened to not talking about your conversations on the forum?  You can't even keep that small commitment to Allison, so how do you think you'll be able to keep a lifetime commitment of marriage?

And where did all this gambling talk come from?  I'm missing any discussion about casinos.

The date has been set for 6/6/15.  Her idea.  We are not engaged and will not do so until I get a job.  Probably next summer I'll pop the question.  The reason for that is I will not allow my bride's ring be purchased by her mother-in-law.  No other details have been discussed except for what the house will be like.
