Nate Silver getting 50/50 states right isn't that impressive at all. You would have gotten exactly the same result - with Florida as the only possible exception - by doing a simple average of all poll, something not exactly requiring great mathematical skill.

I got 49/50 right by doing that-I had Florida in Romney's column. The whole "unskewed polls" thing was done by adding at least 5 points to Romney's side in every state.

FL still remains understated. But the Puerto Rican and Blk vote always remain key

 FL will be retained by Dems due to Murphy winning senate seat.
