Quinnipiac New Jersey Poll
Christie (R) 64%
Buono (D) 30%
Someone Else 1%
Don't Know 5%

1,249 likely voters; margin of error +/- 2.8%; September 19 - 22.

Christie is winning 94% of Republicans, 69% of independents and 35% of Democrats.  His favorables at 67%-27%, even almost winning over Democrats.  Buono is underwater, 23%-36% with 40% saying they haven't heard enough.

If he actually wins by that much in the end, I would be completely stunned. I'm thinking more like +15.

Christie has been running ads tying Buono to Corzine and tax hikes.  58% of Republicans and 40% of Independents don't like Buono.   Only 44% of Democrats have a favorable opinion of her.

Yes, it is the draconian tax increases enacted by McGreevey/Corzine/Buono. Jim Florio tried the same and it led to open revolt from the people in 1991. History repeated itself.
