I had a dream where Tom Kean was a U.S. Senator, and another dream where I was Vice President to a Republican (I think it was Rubio, but I didn't see his face), and that president resigned, so I became president.

I had a dream that there was a recall election for Pat Toomey, and the democrat, Michael Doyle, lost 49-46. Then I woke up, and found out that PA does not even have recalls lol.

I had one last night. There was a presidential election underway today for some reason, and I was in this haze throughout the entirety of the dream. This was made worse by the fact that I was aware that I was dreaming and couldn't seem to wake up from it. I keep going in and out of this blur and in one of the more clearer moments, MSNBC was on TV and they had a map between Trump and the Democratic nominee Kate Brown (no idea why it was her) that looked about the same as 2016 from what I can recall.

Last night, I had a dream that I was a Senator from my home state (New Jersey), and Trump was impeached/resigned a few years back, so Mike Pence was President. The U.S. was attacked with nukes, and Pence declared war. I was out of Washington, but while I was away, the capitol was destroyed. Being one of the few sitting Senators, President Pence called me and asked if I would accept being Vice President and running a fusion ticket in 2024. I remember yelling at him for his social views, but said because of the crisis, I was willing to serve. I was inaugurated in my home, and that’s about as I remember.

The GOP winners were all lined up on some podium at an event. They were:

WV: Jenkins
OH: Mandel
MO: Peterson
IN: Messer

and I vaguely remember either Titus or Rosen being mentioned as winner of Nevada's race.

on June 12, 2015 I had a dream with Hillary Clinton. I remember the date because I wrote a note describing it on my phone:
I was driving through the Home Depot parking lot with my windows down and I see this person walking and it's Hillary Clinton and I'm like laughing because of the coincidence and she's like visibly tired and spent for the day so I offer her a ride and she gets in my car. I ask her where to go and she just says deadpan "I don't know, someplace with vodka" and I'm like, "awesome" and she starts laughing and then we go into the bar and she's not with me anymore and it doesn't seem to matter to me and then there's a booth with my friends 

Also I had a dream this past summer with Barack Obama, where we had to escape the White House together for some reason. I woke up right before we would have made it out.

During the Alabama Senate race I had a dream where Roy Moore was visiting my school. (Whether it was my high school or my college changed during the dream.) So to stop him I had to team up with the socialists in a half-baked plan (and halfway I yelled "Roy Moore is a pedophile!" like an idiot). Given the IRL result, though, I guess it worked.

I remember when I had a dream in which I tried to meet John Conyers but these two ladies kept getting in my way. I wasn't sure if they were staffers or also members of Congress. The weird thing about this dream was that I had it the night before John Conyers announced his resignation.

Watching the scene with John Conyers in the movie Detroit is strange because he resigned by the time I got to see the movie.

I went to the Dominican Republic in July of last year for volunteer work and had to take malaria meds for ~8 weeks before, during, and after the trip. A side effect of the drugs was vivid, odd dreams, and I was a budding political geek in the middle of an election year. Hilarity ensued.

First odd dream: President Hillary Clinton (apparently this was some alternate future that was not to be) gave a sermon at my church about how much she hates Netflix and Chilling with Bill

Second: I'm at a mall and I see Mitch McConnell, Al Gore, and Justin Trudeau. I try to take a selfie with the Canadian PM (ignoring Gore and McConnell) but my phone stopped working and Trudeau got really mad at me

Third: Donald Trump comes to the church I worked at (same one as President Clinton gave her famous "I hate Netflix" speech at) and befriends me, then I try to convince him to drop out and when he declines I end our friendship

Fourth: I'm walking around with my then-best friend and try to convince him to vote for Bernie in the MD primary (which had already happened) and end up giving him a rather decent explanation of how single-payer healthcare works

I had a dream about politics last night. It was 2019, and I was reading an article that talked about the Virginia elections and then mentioned in the same breath that Democrats had flipped 87 house seats and 3-4 Senate seats with a pending recount in Tennessee.

I don’t think the democrats have 87 seats they can even flip unless there Winning the house vote by 20 points.

Dunno if this counts, but last night I dreamt that this popular J-pop star was poisoned by Joseph Stalin after the end of WWII, for she was a threat to post-war Soviet control over Poland.

I had a dream that the 2020 election came early- like, end of 2017 early. i just woke up one morning and saw results. I was surprised by it all. The election was Trump vs. Heitkamp; Trump won the EC while Heitkamp won a PV majority (I think?). Trump somehow lost ND and SD to Heitkamp while winning MN.

Also, the map on Wikipedia had "normal" colors for the Dem wins and GOP wins, but the little color bar beneath Trump and Heitkamp's portraits were the Atlas colors for the parties. Again, for some reason.
