She already is acting like that...she's telling me I have to be patient when learning Greek but she knows I won't be because "Greek guys are all impatient."

Well if you impatiently try and get in her pants we can't help you, and  you're on your own.  Find a new bourbon bar or a new cocktail waitress.  Wink

No, after the last one I need to be careful. And if I rushed into her pants, she'd never go away. You know how Greek girls are...I'd have her whole family after me

Yep.  Imagine all her theas pinching your cheeks, and her mom making you lamb while you are watching football every Sunday with her dad..........run Dukey, run!

Today my path to the ministry has become much clearer... I have been informed that I was accepted into Piedmont College in Demorest, GA, and am eligible for a very generous grant if my pastor writes a letter stating that I'm in good standing with my church. Smiley  Now if Catawba College accepts me, I will get to decide which of them I want to attend in the spring semester.  I am so filled with excitement right now I don't know how to express it.

So I'm probably moving to Los Angeles.
Why?

Decent possibility I'll be getting an apprenticeship doing multimedia/communications work with a union out there.

I can see it now. Don't worry. I am resisting. I know this girl wouldn't be a good candidate for quick and easy, especially now that she knows about my entire family. Tongue

My underwear split today and I spent hours with one ball perilously close to the edge.

The story might be more interesting if you explained what type of physical activity you were doing that caused them to split.

I can't imagine wearing underwear that tight can be at all comfortable even under the best of circumstances...

I had to take a shower in the dark earlier today. It was one of the most depressing things that I've ever had to do in my life.

My computer had 87 trojan horses removed today. I got them Tuesday night from a blog I visit all the time. I am still kind of paranoid about visiting any other website besides Atlas Tongue.

..yes. I'm not hugely into porn anymore, but looking back, of all the sites I have visited, this one would be among the last I would suspect to get a virus from.

Hell, my autistic brother watches the Bearnstein Bears on Chinese video sharing websites every Sunday and he never gets even a warning from my anti-virus software.

The little kitten we found sadly did not last through the night. After she passed my partner sort of realised that we need a feline around for her to stay sane - I guess it's some kind of constant. So we ended up going animal shelter cruising and happened upon two six month old fluff balls, one all black and one all white. We bought them and now they are livening up the place being little psychotic idiots.

And then, yesterday, my sister-in-law finally gave birth to a little boy, so I have been re-uncled for the seventh time and will get to warp his developing mind with stupidity. Hurray.

Work is stressing me out. Being in charge kind of sucks, you take all of the blame when things go badly and none of the credit when things go smoothly. Sucks the most when your boss is an unapproachable Japanese guy with no clue as to Australian work ethics and only a mediocre grasp of English. It has gone from a friendly place to work to an environment where everyone is looking behind their backs for knives. I have never been in this kind of leadership position before and don't know how to change it into a more positive, pleasant place to work again. Maybe it never was a pleasant place to work and I just didn't know about it as a peon. What's the worst is that I feel I cannot take a day off to make heads or tails of anything - whenever I do my bosses and coworkers complain that the day went horribly and then I have twice as much to do correcting the previous day's issues. While it's reassuring to feel needed, it's also pretty suffocating.

I saw someone walking a small pig on a leash on Friday while walking around Fort Greene.  Thought it was a small dog at first- then did a double take.

I wonder what exactly the regulations are for that; I know there are laws against exotic pets here and many other places but I don't know whether a pig qualifies.

I've oddly enough started hitting the gym pretty hard now. I did a health screening at work a few weeks ago, and it didn't turn out pretty well, and I don't really wanna die in the next two years or so.. I'm down 22lbs since mid June, and that was without going to the gym. I don't have any pictures of a scale, but unlike some pathological liars, I will take pictures for proof of my progress.

What makes you think I have time for working out?

And afletich already beat you to the "fraternities are gay" line. Again, I'm not pledging Kappa Delta Rho here.

Saying you don't have any time for working out is ridiculous. Of course you do. It's just an excuse you're making not to do it. Tongue

That is great Andrew. Hit the gym and cut back on the sauce and the weight will fly off.

Last night was particularly interesting. It was my law school's fall formal, and I went against my better judgment, because most of these events end with a disaster. Last time, it was the reunion between myself and my former girl, and I knew she'd be there this time, and she was, but she came with girlfriends, so I was happy she is still alone. I'm awful.

The ball itself was fun. I saw all my buddies and pals and drank a lot of bourbon. This one smoking hot girl who I've known for a bit came up to me before I left and told me I was looking handsome and asked why I didn't take her as my date. Then she let me touch her fantastic ass. My god. It was the best one I have ever felt. I told her I'd take her to spring formal, so we'll see.

Afterwards though, the night got weird. I go to school with a girl who really, really liked me a few summers ago and stalked me for a months afterwards. She's engaged now though. My friends and I went to a bar and saw her completely hammered flirting with some old guy, and the bar tender asked us if we knew her and to get her some help. She saw me walking past her bar chair and followed us outside.

She started telling us her mom died a few weeks ago and she was devastated, then preceded to pin me against the wall and grind herself on my crotch, telling me I should've dated her years ago, her fiancee was out of town for the week, and I could come stay with her and he'd never know, and she could let out all her feelings on me that she's held for three years.

She then told us she was going to drive home, which wasn't going to happen, so I offered to take her home. She came with me, I dropped her off at home, and got the f**k out of there before she could take off her clothes. Her fiancee is an idiot.

Anyway, true to form, disaster followed my formal, but oh well. It was a story to tell. Wink

Good man, Dukey.  Sometimes the little brain wins the battle and with a crazy engaged chick that would be a mess.
