It snowed then rained then froze yesterday. My driveway is a sheet of ice.

Same here, minus the driveway.

Grabbed lunch at B-Dubs with a friend after my last exam. Packed up, evacuated campus via my family's mini-van. Grabbed a deep dish at Como's, an Italian restaurant in Fernadale, for dinner, got home. Now watching "Pi".

Question for my fellow beardmen: is it normal for large patches of one's chin area to be completely bare while everything else grows at roughly the same rate?

I have a fairly natural beard, only trimming it to keep it neat, but not shaving any of it.  It's a fairly full beard, but on my lower lip it looks like a capital T because of the bare stripe that goes from each corner of the mouth down to the top of the chin and then turns inward along the border between lip and chin, but the two bare spots don't meet in the middle.

Depends on the person. I was blessed with roughly equal growth, though there was a slight imbalance in favor of one side that seems to have largely evened out. Some are not so lucky. Sad

I had a flat tire this morning when I woke up, and it turns out all my tires need replacing - an $800 project. Fantastic.

Was forced to by the mother. Got a haircut as well. I now look like a five year-old chemo patient. Hopefully I can grow back enough by the time break ends, but I have a feeling I'll have to settle.

I'm back in Texas for winter break, and I learned today that an In and Out opened in Austin very recently! Finally I'll get to try it.

My grandma had a small heart attack this morning. She should be alright, but I am very close to her and am incredibly nervous. She didnít tell anybody about it until a few hours ago, and her ankles were severely swollen. She did not want to go to the hospital, but my Aunt (who is a nurse) insisted she go to the ER. Anyway, Iím praying my grandma will make a quick recovery.

Oddly enough, while my mother, aunt and grandmother went over to take my grandmother to the hospital, my momís stepsister showed up unexpectedly. She was on her way to visit her brother (who co-owns my grandmaís awning company), so now everyoneís going to be finding out through the rumor mill Tongue.

The good news is that my momís half brother and his wife had another little girl two days ago. Their older daughter, who just turned two, was none too happy about it. I tried to hit my brother with a plastic sippycup when he was born, so I guess it runs in the family Tongue.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother - she will be in my prayers. Grateful it was nothing more serious! Hope you have a happy Christmas, Sanchez.

Thanks Smiley. She is in stable condition, and should be released tommorow. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.

The Sigma Pi fraternity house got broken into, which isn't all that surprising given its location. Unsure as of yet how this will affect plans for a New Year's party there.

Was anything taken? Or were the burglers chased off?

This is going to be a lame new years. I need to start hitting the booze soon and find something fun to do that doesn't cost me over $200.

Back in Davisburg after a long odyssey in and around the Detroit area. 'Twas a successful night all around.
