I was walking home from the gas station by my house and was half way home when I heard the loudest screetch and crash I've ever heard. The whole neighborhood came outside to see it; amazingly, the car involved only was missing its bumper, and it both drivers were out of the car and seemed fine.

Sanchez, I admit, I haven't read all of your update posts. However, this, combined with the news you got mugged like a year ago, leads me to imagine that you live in some post-apocalyptic Hellscape. Am I anywhere close to the mark with this?

My town is mild compared to Lake Worth and Rivera Beach. Palm Beach County is awful. I don't see thick fumes of radiation coming up out of the ground, but one house on my street is boarded up and a gunshot goes off a mile down the road in the so called "ghetto" once every few years.

This week has just been awful. I've discovered I have roughly one to two joys left in life and that school sucks (more than previously).

You can't get depressed in undergrad. Wait until you go to grad school for that. I'm a complete mess now, but I thought I had it together during my undergrad years.

Once I'm able to stabilize my school-sleep-socialize-employment-exercise schedule (hopefully after this week), along with beating this illness, I should be in normal form once more.

So, my mom dragged my dad off to see Tony Bennet, and my brother and I have the house to ourselves, and my brother's friend, his little brother, and the two most f[inks]ing annoying eight graders on the planet are suddenly over.

Also, I watched Inside Llewlyn Davis again on OnDemand for four bucks. God I love that movie. It's a shame that it didn't get an Oscar.

Chairmansanchez, is there a link between them and the day where you have wanted to go to a psychiatric hospical because of a history of porn? I don't remember.

Formal's over. Won Pledge of the Year which was largely unexpected. Can't talk about too much else since it either involves lots of contextual information regarding people I know or admitting to certain crimes (well, like one), but yeah. Had a good time.

Partied with total wild abandon last night (good conversation too), slept very soundly for 8 hours, but still woke up before partner Dan, relaxed and happy and ready for more. Looking forward to receiving the DJ mix that was cut by my architect whose hobby is creating music mixes for his DJ gigs, this one for a double gay weddings in Palm Springs where in the first wedding ceremony the couple  and guests getting married were dressed in white, and the other wedding party in black, and then in the second wedding ceremony, everyone switched colors, so those dressed in black were now in white, and visa versa. And then everyone danced to my friend's music from Midnight to 4 am (at least that was the agenda as described to me - alas we weren't invited). Those hedonistic gays sure know how to have fun! Got just below 200lbs with exercising, still at least 30lbs to go but it's a start. Also have made it to 50% of what I plan to save before buying my condo so that's on the way as well.

9 hour flight to Detroit and on to Chicago tomorrow. And if long haul flights weren't bad enough, flying Delta makes it even worse. Sad

Went to some fancy family charity dinner yesterday. No, it was not a black tie affair, but there were a few there inexplicably dressed like so. Perhaps a consideration for next year.

I slept with a girl I knew from college a few weeks ago when I visited Raleigh, and then ended up doing it again when I visited some college friends during my spring break. I don't think I want to date her, because she's in Raleigh and I'm not, and I have the bar and school exams on the horizon in the next few weeks.

She briefly asked me where this was going and was really intimate during our last little foray this past Friday, so I'm kind of nervous this may end badly if I don't make this a real thing. Maybe I can keep her on until my work starts piling up and pull away as my free time disappears. I like her, she's a sweet girl, but I just have no time to start anything serious. I have too much too many other things to worry about now.

I've finished translating that novel for teenage girls.

What a relief.
