Apparently the neighbours think me and Michael are too noisy during certain activities :/

Inadequate insulation eh?  You know what?  Where two bedrooms will be sharing a wall in my buildings in Hudson, I am making them sound proof. The only panting and grunts that I want to hear, are those of myself and my partner at the time.  Smiley

I went hiking at Elk Knob State Park. The summit is gorgeous, and it has bunch of trees that are tiny- they were stunted by the wind.

The best part about living in Florida is killing that damned spider and then finding out it's a baby momma and taking half an hour to search and kill the babies

That certainly isn't just a FL thing, though I'm usually too lazy to kill the Spider in the first place.

Thanks, guys!

Today I've officially decided to enroll in Catawba College for the class of 2018.

Salisbury, here I come!

Yay!

Are you gonna be in my CD (NC-05)?

Yup!

Another Foxx victim, then! Tongue

Anyway, I hope you have a great time there. Salisbury's a nice city, and it has good location- it's about an even distance to both Charlotte and the Triad.

Anyway, I've been up far too long, trying to determine my vocal type. Time to go to bed.

One exam left and it's Computers on Monday, so screw it. Deciding what to buy in terms of drinks tonight. Today's been almost completely useless. Passed out after 4 AM on a couch in the House, woke up after 9, headed back. Went to sleep and woke up around 12:30 PM. I had an exam at 2 PM, it was an oral exam with my Religion professor and went well, so I went to breakfast, showered, and changed before going over to the building. Have been doing very little since.

Was at the mall last evening for some light exercise mixed in with shopping.  Unusually for me, I got drawn into a sales pitch/demonstration of some skin care products at one of the kiosks as I was walking past it. A charming young girl and she did her patter well.  I might have even bought some of the stuff she had to sell if it had been within my price range despite the fact that for me skin care is usually just soap and water, but $150, even if it was supposed to be a year's supply and included two "free" extras, was more than I was willing to consider for an impulse buy.  $90 and she might have gotten a sale, but not at $150 from this cheapskate.

Now during her patter she asked if I was married or happy, and then once I said I was happy asked how many girlfriends I had.  Now I didn't think of it at the time, but later, I wondered how she would have reacted had I said I had a boyfriend. (Not that there is anything wrong with that beyond that it would be a lie, but this is South Carolina.)

Maybe if I'd bought the stuff.

Thats absolutely incredible Afleitch! I've been painting in my art class, and for sh*ts and giggles painted Rick Scott with hilariously bad results Tongue.

A bit abstract for my taste, but certainly better than what I could do.  Not that my interests run in that direction.  Writing, public speaking/acting, and music are arts that interest me more.

Next week begins the last law school exams of my time here. I have one on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It's bittersweet really. I feel like I have learned a lot during my time in law school, and I have become much more cynical about some things in the process. Tongue

Anyway, I hope the next few days go by fast, because I am already tired of seeing all the people outside enjoying the sun and activities. Of course, I only have about 2-3 weeks off before I start studying for the bar...

I've been helping out as a stage hand for a school play and am thinking of asking my friend who is in it to prom. But I know better than to ask for advice about that sorta thing on this forum, so I'm gonna wing it Tongue.
