For some reason I didn't realize you were back there to begin with.

I didn't publicize it quite as much as the previous times.

Spent a week in Hawai'i recently. First couple days went okay, saw Pearl Harbor, went to a luau etc. Then on my second to last day, I almost got in a fight with a Hawaiian on the bus, because I didn't get out of my seat fast enough. (He had Parkinson's so I was supposed to give it to him). And of course I got off at the wrong stop. I wound up in Chinatown, surrounded by broken glass, graffiti and stores with bars on the windows. I ended up spending a night in jail to because I wouldn't let a cop search my bag.

Hoo, boy. The guy I was supposed to carpool with is away, and as I woke up he called me to say he'd been stung in the eye (My shift begins at 5 PM today). The one housemate who just quit his job has "things to do", so I can't borrow his car. I might be able to borrow another guy's car, but he's at a trade show right now and will probably be coming back late. I was given the number of a guy headed to the same job site as me, but his phone wasn't accepting calls and apparently he doesn't have a car. This is leaving me to simply be able to scroll around for articles to read on the internet so I can at least feel smart.

If you like the Jackass Movies, and haven't seen Bad Grandpa .5, I strongly recommend it.

Once I feel sage in the assumption that I'm not working (getting closer every second), I'll probably head to the school's fitness center before it closes and then working on some personal projects and do some reading and maybe cleaning. I'm pretty pissed off since this was supposed to be my first day back at work since two Thursdays ago and I need the money.

I was feeling sluggish at work and so I spent $.75 on a delicious Coca-Cola 12oz can. Delightful treat when sipped slowly and it has put a new spring in my step.

I read a book about a North Korean defector who had escaped a concentration camp and was working as a black market smuggler to pay his way across the border into China. It was very interesting to read about his first ever sip of Coca-Cola-he claimed that it cured him of a cold at the first sip (keep in mind, this is the first time he has ever tried in a soft drink in his life).

Coca Cola is a great drink. You could make the argument that it single handedly won us the Cold War.

It certainly helped the economy of Georgia, creating a climate of upward mobility which allowed industrious young Herman Cain to thrive.

This referendum is nudging me leftwards again.

The independence referendum, or is Scotland or the UK having some other referendum that's flown under my radar?

Just remember to put it back after you've used it or your bar tap will go through the roof.
