I've crunched the numbers and, after agonizing over the call, am ready to go out on a limb here:

Christie wins.

Virginia Senate
22 Democrats
18 Republicans

Where are these two Democratic gains coming from may I ask?

Well, you could theoretically have 21D/19R if Obenshain wins but McAuliffe rises to FDR/JFK approval levels by the special election and they pick up his 60% Romney seat while holding Northam's...

EDIT: Better idea- the 2 Obama/Kaine seat Republicans in the state senate announce tomorrow night that they are switching parties after a complete Democratic sweep of both their districts.

ie this cannot happen.

NJ: Christie wins by some boringly large margin.

VA: I think Terry McAuliffe likely wins by a couple of points but Governor Cooch remains frighteningly possible given that no-one's going to show up (probably).

NYC: lol

Christie will win every county in the state.

Don't see it happening but that would be a dream Cheesy I think he'd have to be in the 65+% region for that to happen, and I'm not totally convinced he'll break 60 Tongue

New Jersey Governor:

Chris Christie (R) - 62%
Barbara Buono (D) - 36%

Virginia Governor:

Terry McAuliffe (D) - 49%
Ken Cuccinelli (R) - 44%
Robert Sarvis (L) - 6%

I predict that Democrats will win the other two statewide races in Virginia as well, though I don't have any numbers.

Actual results below (difference from my prediction shown in parentheses):

RESULTS:

New Jersey Governor:

Chris Christie (R) - 60% (-2%)
Barbara Buono (D) - 38% (+2%)

Virginia Governor:

Terry McAuliffe (D) - 48% (-1%)
Ken Cucinelli (R) - 45 (+1%)
Rob Sarvis (L) - 7% (+1%)

It looks as if my prediction that the Democrats would win the other two statewide races in Virginia will prove to be accurate as well, but we still have to wait for official confirmation...
