The GOP has a huge deficit in name recognition... and spending for the GOP gov. candidate will be especially tricky though I'm sure the Kochs will get involved.

Dayton is pretty safe.

It's amazing.  One of the few states in which the GOP seems to target each cycle is weakening for them. 

You thought that from 2000 to 2006 or so, the GOP was closing the gap on the democrats there and at least they held some offices.  Now, they have nothing.

Republicans are apparently in disarray in Minnesota. A state that has had a Republican Senator as late as 2008 and that has elected non-Democrats as Governor has been closed off to them.

Minnesota Republicans bet too heavily on Michelle Bachmann as the wave of the future, and they are going to pay a price for that. If a woman from Minnesota ever becomes President, it will be Amy Klobuchar.
