I sympathize with you - I usually drink at least one or two cold pops a day. I'm currently going through one 24-pack every two weeks. On top of that, I usually get a cold pop for lunch and dinner - usually a Sprite or Coke.
It is definitely an addiction - I would recommend just trying to cut down on your pop intake. You could be addicted to a lot worse! 
I was addicted to soda for a long time. It was destroying my teeth.
Anyways, I have about two sodas a day. A sprite at lunch and something from the gas station on my street in the evening. I love cherry sodas, and the Miami Subs I worked at had a free style, which allows you to mix your drinks.
