This is the craziest thing ever. Are you an idiot? Newt Gingrich/Jerry Falwell? That ticket would never happen. It doesn't even have the slightest chance of being the 2008 ticket. Oprah/Donald Trump? WTF? Donald Trump was a Reform Party member and a moderate libertarian. If anything in this crazy scenario he would have the best chance of running with Ventura, another old Reform Party member, and Oprah? Oprah would probably never run. John Kerry being picked in 2008 is unlikely and I don't think Warner would be his running mate. The craziest thing on here is the Republican ticket. I don't mean to be rude but come back when you know alittle something about politics.

I'm sorry but most of the things on this forum are serious except for some stuff in the Off-Topic section and the Individual Politics section. And please keep it civil.

You weren't exactly keeping it civil, Colin. Look at your post. Stop being a hypocrit.

It's not a trollish post, it's a actual question.

In any event, Kerry (MD).

Kerry doesn't need my vote in this scenario, thence Nader. Of course I'm not an American anyways.

I can't believe Gingrich/Falwell are in 2nd place! Maybe there are more conservatives on this board than I had previously believed...

I like Newt Gingrich but not Jerry Falwell.  I think I might not vote in this scenario.

I'm pretty sure most of us who voted for Gingrich/Fallwell voted for Gingrich, not for Fallwell--we're definitely holding our noses here.  If the Oprah ticket had been Trump/Oprah instead, I would have voted for them instead.

But Gingrich is nearly as bad.

Well, count me as a conservative then.

Ventura/King (MI)

Think he's about the only decent choice on there.  I like him okay, but I haven't heard much about him.  He sounds like a left leaning libertarian.  Someone validate, does this sound like a fair judgement on his ideology.  He claims to be a fiscal conservative, and social liberal,  but some things seem off kilter about being a real libertarian.
