To the members of the Press Corp:

I would like to invite ColinW and Sam Spade of the National Atlasian, Siege40 of the National Journal, Joe Republic of JoeTV, Akno21 of MANN, Ernest of the Region, and John Ford of the Planet Corporation to a press conference each month.  The exact dates will be announced at a later time.  This press conference will be held in teamspeak.  If you cannot attend teamspeak, either submit your questions to another member of the press corp, or post it in the White House Thread.  If I forgot any members of the press corp, please tell me, and I will add you.  This press conference will be recorded and broadcast to the public in the White House thread soon after it concludes.

Sure I'll be there, but JoeTV is currently in talks with a leading media conglomerate about the possibility of a take-over.  If this goes through, I may not be there 'cause I'll be sipping cocktails in Maui , but I'll endeavour to ensure that my replacement anchorman maintains the highest quality of political journalism possible as long as the President only talks using fiercely partisan soundbites .

Oh I see Mr. President, only the 'Big 6' media corporations get any of the action! Your attempts to silence the people is astonishing. Small publications have as much right as anyone else to be at this press conference. If these press conference aren't open to the smaller media (essentially the public for questioning) the NJ (no, not New Jersey) will withdraw!
