So Anelka makes the above salute which he says isn't anti-semitic and is just in support of his friend the French 'comedian' Dieudonné M'bala. M'bala says he also isn't anti-semitic just because he has skits in which he gave a heroism award to French Holocaust denier Robert Faurisson with the 'award' was presented by a man in a concentration camp uniform, complete with a yellow star.
Samir Nazri made the salute outside Manchester City's stadium. But he claims he didn't know either.
Neither did this man, making the salute outside the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school in Toulouse, where Mohammed Merah murdered three children and a teacher in 2012
And these people certainly don't know what it means. The old man in the middle has never seen it before in his life.
So in summary. No one knows what it means but if it means anything it's definitely not anti-semitic. Just so you know.
