Lean FF, largely thanks to his generally good political policies. However, his fathering a bastard child out of wedlock seems pretty... Ripe, to say the least.

He might not have been the father.  Indeed, he probably wasn't, but the other suspects were all married while he was a bachelor at the time.  That isn't to say he didn't end up related to the kid.  More than likely the kid was a half-brother to the woman he later married.

Total FF Man!

We should totally remember Cleveland as the honest principled god fearing man as he was who stood up for constitutional values and favoritism towards none.  Him, and his other Bourbon Democrat allies, who were fighting for what they thought was best for the nation and only wanted to keep honest god fearing anglo protestant upper class principled men in power while keeping mick kraut dago polack labor union organizing socialist anarchists corrupt criminals bought and paid for by political machines and other "unsavory folk" from taking over!
So much different from the Republicans, who were totally big business elitist hacks!

The US government was in practice a horrible, corrupt institution in this era.  The government had yet to deal with the implications of an economy dominated by big business and wage labor.  So, basically every President of this era was weak and fairly irrelevant.

Cleveland was a scrupulously honest and sincere person.  But, his sincere beliefs were out of date and just wrong a lot of the time.  He did some very fair-minded things in terms of foreign policy, which few Presidents would do.  But, overall, he was nothing special.

Pretty bad for the most part, but probably one of the best Presidents on foreign policy, and his anti-imperialist views certainly makes him preferable to Republicans of the era.

Terrible economic policies. Very anti-labor. He wasn't the warmonger than McKinley was, but he's definitely a HP.
