i beg to differ with you--Rand Paul would be competitive in a general election. Mitch Daniels wouldn't be a bad choice for vp either.
Not with his voting record many of the bills he's proposed would be easy fodder for attack ads (Fetal Personhood Bill, National Right to Work Law etc.) he's also been proven to be thin skinned and unprepared for prime time remember the plagiarism scandal and how badly he reacted to that. Not to mention the whole Civil Rights Act mess that happened back in 2010 he'll have to deal with.
