Don't forget Utah, we have a special election for AG this year. It won't be competitive though, even though the old AG left because of a huge corruption scandal and the new temporary AG hasn't done a good job of cleaning things up.

Arizona will be because Terry Goddard's running, and Wisconsin will be competitive because Wisconsin. Maybe Florida too, although gun to my head says it Leans Bondi. Michigan and Nevada, by virtue, will be competitive too, and Tilts R/Leans D, respectively. Republicans could pick up NM because of the lack of Democratic turnout (Martinez will be safe).

I don't think Deal will sink Georgia, and Iowa/Ohio will hold in a D wave on name recognition alone.

Competitive: Arizona, Colorado, Wisconsin, Florida

Maybe Competitive/Don't know enough to say: Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio (probably not, but Pepper's fundraising unexpectedly impressive and he's very popular in Hamilton County so hope springs eternal Tongue )

Florida's at a bare minimum lean R with Bondi/Sheldon (who I think's the stronger of the two Dems). Dems have, as always, a very weak statewide bench, but Charlie could maybe drag Sheldon across the line.

If Crist wins in November (it's still possible), you know Bondi will run against him in 2018 for the governorship.

DeWine could be a contender for the governorship in 2018 when Kasich is term limited.

Doubt he'd make it through the primary.

I believe Sean Reyes, the temporary UT AG, has said he'll run for re-election. It's Safe R anyway, but Swallow is long gone (though his corrupt shadow looms over the AG's office and there's a bunch of legislation in the works to stop someone like him happening again).

It'll be interesting to see what Alan Wilson runs for in 2018.  He could try for the Governor's office, but AGs haven't had much success at running for Governor in this state.  The last Governor to have been previously been Attorney General was Daniel Henry Chamberlain, the last Republican governor during Reconstruction.  His stepfather Joe will be 71 in 2018, so it's possible Joe would retire and back his stepson Alan for his job.

Some of these ratings like AZ and NM are too generous to the Republicans.

Here in Texas, Our Campaigns has the State Attorney General contest in the Republican primary as tossup as I've seen television advertising by Branch and Smitherman.

No TV ads from Paxton so far.
