Redoing because it's been forever.

Overview:
Social: Conservative
Economic: Traditionally conservative, but not necessarily free market
Foreign policy: Lean non-interventionist but not overly so

Social Policy:
Abortion: Oppose. Overturn Roe and ban with an exception to save the life of the mother.
Same-Sex Marriage: Oppose. I wouldn't attempt to re-ban it though.
Drug Laws: Keep the hard stuff illegal. Recreational marijuana should be illegal with fines and/or community service as the punishment. Medical marijuana should be in principle permissible, but subject to the usual FDA drug regulations.
Death Penalty: Oppose in practice in the US.
Gun Control: Okay with background checks but none of the "ban random feature" trendy moves.
Religious Freedom: RFRA more or less. Higher scrutiny on governmental religious interference for attempts to compel people to do things than for outlawing things.
Affirmative Action: Oppose. Open to an economic-based alternative for education only.
Political Correctness: Say what you mean and mean what you say. Be charitable and try to give your opponents the best possible interpretation.
Euthanasia: Oppose. Keep it illegal.
Prostitution: Oppose. Keep it illegal where banned and ban it where legal.
Pornography: Oppose. I wouldn't attempt to actually ban it though.
Immigration: Crack down on illegal border crossings combined with one-time amnesty opportunity for illegals who haven't done anything wrong except come here illegally. Mandatory jail time for hiring an illegal alien after the amnesty window is up.

Economic Policy:
Minimum Wage: Somewhere in the $10ish range is probably about right. Add a governmental subsidy to small businesses who employ unskilled workers to prevent them from being driven out.
Right to Work: Oppose. Unions bargain for all workers, so all have to pay. I support banning unions from making political donations.
Taxation: Almost certainly needs to increase to pay for our current programs without adding more.
Healthcare: Require hospitals to charge the same price for the same procedure regardless of the patient's insurance. Allow medicare/medicaid to negotiate prices.
Education: Allow for greater state and local control of curriculum and content. Ban multiple choice math questions in standardized testing.
Free Trade: Deals should be bilateral and ensure that cheap labor costs don't allow goods only flow in one direction.

Foreign Policy and National Security:
Iran: Continue sanctions unless nuclear program is stopped.
Syria: Try to negotiate a peace between Assad, the Kurds, and US-backed rebels that doesn't end up with any side getting arrested/executed by whatever government replaces the current mess. Push for an independent Kurdistan if the Kurds want one.
Israel/Palestine: Two-state solution ideally, but good luck.
Russia: Deal with on a case-by-case basis. Russia can be a strategic partner sometimes, but don't really trust them.

Environment:
Climate Change: Build nuclear power plants, the only plausible non-fossil-fuel option for our base load.

Electoral and Political Reform:
Term limits: Oppose.
Electoral College Reform: Oppose. Changing the rules is a sure sign of losing.
Voter ID: Support, as long a provided for free by the government.

Have I ever done this before?

Overview:
Social: Liberal
Economic: Neoliberal with social capitalist leanings
Foreign policy: I don't oppose going around and blowing things up, but there should be an actual working reason.

Social Policy:
Abortion: Keep Roe v. Wade. I do have a certain personal opposition to abortion—but I think the way to reduce abortion rates is through comprehensive sex education in schools, and ensuring easy access to contraception.

Same-Sex Marriage: Support.

Drug Laws: Legalize/tax/regulate marijuana, emphasize treatment for offenders rather than draconian punishment.

Death Penalty: Only in extreme circumstances (such as for war criminals). Otherwise, it's expensive, unruly, and too frequently leads to the execution of innocent people (I define "too frequently" as the cumulative number of innocent people executed exceeding 0.)

Gun Control: I acknowledge the existence of the Second Amendment and the strength of America's gun culture, but from a personal standpoint, unless you're living in a rural area/hunt frequently, I just flat-out don't understand the rationale behind gun ownership. (Though I recognize that's not in and of itself a reason to support gun control. My reason for supporting gun control is children dying.)

Religious Freedom: Support if that means your ability to practice your beliefs without interference from the government. Oppose for the people who use it as their reason for not selling a cake to gay people or whatnot.

Affirmative Action: More positions should be hired in a "blind" fashion, precluding the possibility of conscious or subconscious discrimination based on race or gender, and keeping it relegated to raw data and professional qualifications.

Political Correctness: I mean, I'm for people being jerks less frequently, but my opinion isn't particularly militant in either direction.

Euthanasia: Permissable, as long as the patient has the wherewithal to pass certain examinations certifying their ability to understand the decision.

Prostitution: Regulate to ensure the safety of sex workers.

Pornography: Current laws are fine.

Immigration: My opinion on this will be implied by my answers on trade/economics.

Economic Policy:

Minimum Wage: Should be a sliding scale based on cost of living/age of worker, but generally, it's too low right now.

Right to Work: My opinion on unions is generally set to the same tone as the Taft–Hartley Act.

Taxation: Lower the corporate tax, and focus more on individual taxation. My ideal vision would be a nationwide consumption tax to lower or replace many existing taxes, but I haven't found a workable model for it, and it's probable that one might not exist.

Healthcare: Public option.

Education: There's a reason that any politician can get votes by complaining about the horrors of excessive standardized testing.

Free Trade: I generally support free trade and strongly oppose blind protectionism as it's immensely regressive and self-defeating, though comprehensive multinational trade agreements should be at least partially publicly debated and constructed (i.e. I might support the overall thrust of the TPP, but I dislike how it was conceived).

Foreign Policy and National Security:

Iran: I don't understand very much about the Iran deal, but it seems fine—or, at least, not the Worst Deal In The History Of Deals.

Syria: I have no idea what's happening in Syria except that it is bad.

Israel/Palestine: Does it even matter what anyone has to say on this anymore?

Russia: They'e contributed much to the evolution of world cinema!

Environment:

Climate Change: Is caused by human activity and is bad.

Electoral and Political Reform:

Term limits: Oppose, because it's just a boon for lobbyists.

Electoral College Reform: I would enjoy totally dismantling this absurdly antiquated and antidemocratic system piece by piece.

Voter ID: Support in theory, but since it just seems to be used in practice for politicians to make it harder for people who don't support them to vote, oppose in reality.

Pretty liberal overall, but deeply pragmatic and almost always a loyal Democrat. I'm not at all the type to try to unseat a popular moderate if they're the most realistic candidate, enforce party litmus tests when I realize that certain liberal policy proposals are not popular throughout the country, or resist voting for a Democrat in a general election just because I have some mild disagreements with them.

Abortion? Staunchly pro-choice
Gay Marriage? Staunchly in favor
Guns? Staunchly anti-gun but willing to settle for incremental reform
Marijuana? Legalize it, and explore decriminalization for other drugs
Death Penalty? Oppose, but less for moral reasons and more for finance/practicality reasons
Electoral Reform? Abolish (or at least heavily reform) the electoral college and regulate campaign finance more strictly (not a fan of term limits though)
Religion? Strongly stand against any sort of religious pervasiveness into government and am entirely opposed to any religious basis for public policy, but of course want to protect the freedom for anyone to worship as they see fit
Parental Rights? This is a very broad category but I generally support the protection of a child's confidentiality in a school or medical professional over the requests of parents for disclosure of information
Illegal Immigration? Pass legislation to cement the protected status of DREAMers, rein in the current aggressiveness of ICE, and be more forgiving of non-violent offenses committed by illegal immigrants

Taxation? Slight increase of taxation on top income brackets from Obama-era numbers
Healthcare? Fine-tune the ACA with the short-term goal of adding a public option and long-term goal of transitioning to a single payer-like system
Environmental Issues? Strongly incentivize renewable energy and eventually punish non-renewable energy, strongly regulate the cleanliness of our air and water, and recognize the threat of climate change and our role in causing it (inc. reentering the Paris Climate Agreement)

Dovish/Hawkish? Moderately dovish
Israel vs. Palestine? Both are problematic, but the United States has typically been (and is very much so right now) very favorable towards Israel while ignoring the wants of Palestinians, so I would like to a more impartial foreign policy on this issue (which Obama seemed to be moving towards during his second term, ex. not vetoing the UN resolution condemning Israeli settlement building); the United States also has to condemn unnecessary violence on both sides, include Israeli "defense" during the Gaza protests last week
Iran Deal? Not perfect but it definitely didn't make seem to make sense to exit at this point

Overall: Iíd consider myself a moderate on most areas. All things being equal Iím going to vote Democrat but in many instances I will vote Republican. As I did in the 2012 MA Senate race. I came damn close to voting for Romney that year as well. Moderate Democrat sums me up perfectly. My ďperfect politicianĒ if there is such a thing, has already existed: his name is John F Kennedy. Literally everything he believed in, I believe in.

Military: Lean Hawkish on areas of national security interest but in areas of ďmoral combatĒ I believe we should teed lightly because despite having morals, Iím not sure being the worlds policemen are  worth the lives of young American men and women. Foreign aid to support the defense of our allies is totally reasonable as long as itís not coming at our expense. Maintain the commitments weíve made thus far but beyond that hold off on making any new ones.

Economics/Entitlements: In a society that is as well off as we are, I believe it is the social responsibility of those who are really well off to pay more than others to take care of the less fortunate. That doesnít mean I support a total nanny state that funds the lazy habits of layabouts. The amount of safety nets to prevent abuse in this area leaves a lot to be desired. But as long as safety nets to prevent fraud are enacted, I think the ultra rich (over $2M) need to pay a moderate tax on first portion of wealth but then a higher tax rate on anything over a certain amount (letís say $5M). Yes this is a redistribution of wealth to a degree but overall it makes for a better country.

Equal Pay: I support a law that firmly states equal pay for equal work.
Not a step closer to it but at it. Period.

Health care: I believe health care should be an absolute right for every single American. How much you pay for the health care depends on how much income you take in. But it should be afforded to every American. Medicare should be expanded far beyond its current scope.

Child care: Government should subsidize 40 hours of child care per child up to age 5. For special needs children up to age 8.

Regulations: There are many good justifiable reasons for the government to get involved with the way companies do business so as to prevent dangerous practices but thereís no question that government regulation puts a stranglehold on some companies that makes it more profitable for them to do business outside of America and that must change.

Minimum wage: There should be a an $12 federal minimum wage and one that slowly escalated based on the cost of living. Aside from the federal minimum there should be higher ones in certain states based on cost of living

Immigration: To enter into the United States, you are being given a privilege. It is not your birthright. It sucks that some people have to be turned away but we must secure our borders. We must protect ourselves. The people who are here need to be thought of before we think of potentially new people. This country was founded on the basis of legal immigration, its part of our heritage. But the border can not be a free for all of people flooding in and going anywhere they want for whatever reason they want - and then once they get here draining our resources. YES certain severe dangerous cases require special action but otherwise people need to wait their turn.

Balanced budget: I donít think itís totally reasonable to demand a balanced budget considering you never know what is going to come up at any random time. But I do believe once the rate of expenses surpasses revenue - only certain things can be added to the budget and only certain things can be continue to be funded. I also think an automatic tax increase and budget cuts should be triggered when expenses outpace revenues. I know it doesnít seem totally realistic but the concept can be pulled off at some point.

Infrastructure: One thing that America is desperately behind on is infrastructure. For the richest and most powerful country in the world there is absolutely horrendous infrastructure in this country. In part due to the public not wanting to pay for it, politicians not wanting to fund it and in part due to graft from construction companies. I think it should become a federal law that certain aspects of infrastructure shall be maintained by the states (power, water, roadways) with some help from federal government. For the major metro areas I think an extreme number, possibly in the trillions needs to be spent to update, upgrade, modernize and expand the mass transit systems and airports - to do this the states need to be asked to pay their fair share but the federal government should pitch in a matching amount.

Marriage: I believe the concept of a ďmarriageĒ is between a man and a woman but where as society has deemed a marriage to be a union of two ondodovuals who love each other, I no longer think itís right of me to suggest equally weighted ďcivil unions Ē as a substitute homosexuals for marriage. Thus Iím now okay with Gay marriage.

Prostitution Should be totally legal for anyone 19 and over. Should be taxed, regulated and legal only in a brothel setting. Civil infraction & steep fine for individual street cases (for both John and prostitute) but a felony for running an illegal house of prostitution.

Marijuana: Support cross the board legalization for anyone over 18. Selling in licenced establishments permitted across the board and heavily taxed. Driving under influence similar to DUI. Selling small amounts a misdemeanor, heavy amounts = a felony

Alcohol: Drinking age 21. Civil infraction for those 18-21 caught drinking. Alcohol should be heavily taxed

Cigarettes: Smoking age should be 18 as is. Cigarettes should be EXTREMELY taxed.

Abortion: Pro-Choice. Abortion should be legal up to 20 weeks. 20-24 weeks only in case rape/incest. After 24 weeks only to save life of mother.

Gun control: Donít believe in banning guns outright but believe a strong and I do mean strong amount of control legislation should be enacted. From background checks to gun free zones to red flag laws and beyond. The Second amendment was intended to protect against rogue leaders nesting up citizens and controlling them the way the British red coats did during the colonial days, those days are long gone.

Criminal justice: Our system broken. It should not be a liberal position that more African Americans are being needlessly shot dead by officers, it should be a common sense position because itís a fact. The interaction between law enforcement and civilians is all out of whack. We have cops getting killed in cold blood and people getting killed by the cops for no apparent reason. For this we need far better training for law enforcement and without question body cams on every single policeman, as well as multiple cameras on police vechiles. And these cops that kill without justification need to be prosecuted, not allowed to skate. And in reverse the cop killers need to thrown away for good. >>>>>>> Once and for all the fact that those who are wealth off stand a better chance in our criminal justice system than those who are poor is absolutely abhorrent. How guilty or innocent some is. The circumstances of ones crime or indiscretion, how much someone has truly shown remorse or how much they have been rehabilitated - should be the standards by how well they do in the criminal justice system. Iím not sure what that takes to change it but it makes a mockery of our nation otherwise.

Unions: I strongly support unions but in some areas they have become too powerful and ESPECIALLY in the cases of public unions they have run rough shot over local budgets that are spending 30%-40% on pensions, itís a joke. I guess what Iím saying is public unions need to be more reasonable because they are destroying government budgets and itís not fair to the tax payer. But overall I do support the concept of unions and rights of workers.

Death Penalty: Torn on this. I generally oppose it but in VERY LIMITED cases I can understand itís use. But as a rule I donít support it and donít mind it being banned in any state.

Electoral Reform:

- Voting ID: I support the idea that someone should show some form of proof that they are who they say they are when voting. This is common sense to me. The Left uses it to allow illegals to vote and the right uses this subject to intimidate and surpress voters. Both are wrong.

- Electoral College: I know itís not rational but for some reason I support it. But I wouldnít be crushed if it was done away with but thatís never going to happen

- Term limits: Oppose strongly. Lame duck politicians canít be held accountable and to me the most dangerous person is someone who has nothing to lose.

Climate change: Itís real and we need to get ahead of it now before itís too late. However I do not support extreme initiatives that provide minimum environmental benefit but create major inconvienances for average citizens.

Socially: Centrist
Fiscally: Capitalist
Foreign Policy: Pro-Military
Political Party: Democratic

Social Issues: I'm pro-life (on Abortion) and anti-affirmative action which are typically conservative stances, but I have no issues with gay marriage and want some degree of gun control (which are liberal positions)

Economic/Fiscal Issues: I'm pro-business and believe that lower taxes(but not a flat tax) for the rich, middle class, poor are what is most beneficial for the economy (i.e " A rising tide lifts all boats")

Foreign Policy: I believe a strong military is what ensures American dominance and peace abroad, but good diplomacy never hurts!

The most important issue for me is climate change (it IS killing us), an issue for which there is no more time.

All in all, I'm pretty pragmatic but the Democratic Party is definitely my home!

Secular, pragmatic Democrat, who doesn't like amnesty but support statehood status for Puerto Rico, due to my growing up in Illinois, around Latinos

Don't like legalizing weed, I support the military, and look up to secular politicans like RFK.

I suppose this is generally what I get for ignoring stickied threads...

Overview:
Social: liberaltarian
Economic: Neoliberal with social capitalist leanings
Foreign policy: hard left, very nearly reaching pacifist

Social Policy:
Abortion: completely and entirely uncaring. I have strong personal reservations about the morality of abortion despite being an atheist and yet I don't believe it's the government's place to regulate personal behavior.

Same-Sex Marriage: Support.

Drug Laws: Legalize/tax/regulate marijuana. Prioritize treatment for users caught the first time, emphasize prosecution of larger dealers / traffickers.

Death Penalty: oppose in all cases. Its value in deterrence is scientifically dubious, the process is long, winding and expensive and on top of all that, is inhumane and cruel.

Gun Control: I'm fine with a pre-McDonald case law on gun control, where states and municipalities are free to set their own laws. Chicago's crime has spiked since the court struck down its handgun ban and localities should be free to tackle crime how they see fit.

Religious Freedom: do what you want, when you want to. As long as I'm not coerced via taxing power into supporting it. Yes, this should be read as an opposition to religious charter schools and to tax free status of churches.

Affirmative Action: difficult to say for sure, honestly. It's a solution that nibbles at the edges of America's original sin. Personally, I would favor reparations and subsequent abolishment of affirmative action.

Political Correctness: don't really be a dick for no reason. Don't shout down speakers with whom you disagree.

Euthanasia: acceptable, with doctor's permission, secondary and tertiary opinion. The tertiary opinion is a state-sanctioned social worker.

Prostitution: no change to current laws.

Pornography: no change to current laws.

Immigration: not really a social issue, but ok. Generally in favor of increasing legal immigration, while increasing deportions of undocumented immigrants with felonies, providing pathway to citizenship for those facing refugee crises in their home country.

Economic Policy:

Minimum Wage: probably best left up to municipalities. An ideal solution would be based on cost of living of the workplace of the employee, but that opens up a huge host of administrative issues for people who work from home, for people that travel often, etc. So notch me as a support in theory, oppose in practice. Probably a nationwide 10-12/hr with automatic increases based on C-CPI every other year.

Right to Work: support.

Taxation: Corp tax rate between 24 and 28 percent; retain current individual rates; end preferential rates for capital gains, dividends and interest; end standard deduction and child tax credit and phase back in exemptions; dramatically pare back deductions and credits, excepting double taxation; nationally instituted value added tax of 15% which supercedes and replaces state and local sales tax; VAT split between state and federal government equally (i.e., 7.5% on each purchase and on purchases crossing state lines, is determined by the location of the buyer not the seller); estate tax of 50% in excess of 2.5M single / 5M joint, adjusted every other year to C-CPI.

Healthcare: Public option into Medicare, paid for by the aforementioned VAT.

Education: charter schools aren't a great answer, but to really get into fixing the Ed system, that'd have to first be solved by fixing the wealth gap between races (schools funded by property taxes, collections of which are lower in neighborhoods of color) and I find that problem to be beyond my very, very modest intelligence.

Free Trade: general support. General support multilateral deals as well. General oppose tariffs and protectionism.

Entitlements: support privatization option of social security. Bush was unfairly pilloried for a decent idea. Support reduction on costs for Medicare and Medicaid.

space exploration: support manned and unmanned exploration and colonization, encourage private investment

Regulatory
: supported banking modernization bill, oppose efforts to regulate tech companies, support regulatory efforts on ISPs, stricter environmental regulations on energy companies

Foreign Policy and National Security:

Iran: strong support

Syria: a pretty terrible situation without an obviously better course. dubious why we care so much about this particular bloody situation, as opposed to those in Africa...

Israel/Palestine: the only thing I really feel comfortable saying is that it shouldn't be a crime to support BDS.

Russia: somebody should've paid more for the world cup. that said, it's uncomfortable the extent to which many democrats are listening to the opinions of decidedly miserable human beings like Bill Kristol on Russia.

War budget - halve it.

Environment:

Climate Change: carbon tax.

Electoral and Political Reform:

Term limits: maybe support consecutive term limits? or set them really high as to discourage lobbyist powers? or just term limits for Michael Madigan and Michael Madigan alone.

Electoral College Reform: no change. there should probably be more states, though, as it's difficult for California and Texas's wide ranging population needs to be met.

Voter ID: support only with a national voter ID card, that's free to obtain at any post office. Otherwise oppose.

Odds and ends
Abolish the following: ICE, DHS
Repeal the PATRIOT Act, repeal the AUMF in place.
Reparations: support
BLM: support
Public financing of elections: full, constitutional amendment

Ideology: Social Democracy

Top Issues: Foreign Policy, Civil Liberties, Economy

Healthcare: Establish a National Health Service here, allow for private insurance

Education: Reaffirm secularism in everything not related to religion

Taxes: Progressive taxation on the scale of European countries. Have a flat tax on investments as 30%, Remove deductions such as tax breaks for charities. Lower our taxes on corporations,

Trade: Fair trade as in taking considerations for environmental and labor concerns. Bar trade from areas with high human rights abuses

Campaign Finance: Get rid of Citizens United. Only the people of this country can give money for elections, nobody else.

Abortion: Wherever I am I want it legal, could honestly be reduced to my state.

Civil liberty: legalize drugs scheduled as section one by the DEA except Heroin. Background checks and ability to sue sellers if there is any evidence of ignoring laws. Any gun is then fine to buy. Strong anti surveillance laws and allow for decriminalization of prostitution while committing to targeting pimps.

Immigration: Increase legal immigration by getting rid of quotas and making it easier and faster to apply. Allow undocumented immigrants to stay and give them proper identification, but fine those hiring.

Energy: Make the country energy independent with heavy focus on renewable. Strengthen regulations on the environment. Do tough keep some amount of Offshore drilling and Fracking in areas not threatening populations or wildlife extremely.

Criminal Justice : Charges dropped on drug users, send them to rehab. More community oversight on law enforcement and strike down minimums. End law endorsed murder or Capital Punishment in our system.

Foreign Policy: End support on dictatorial regimes and settler states now. Start working toward expanding human rights and economic cooperation. Lessen our military funding by less than 1990's era funding.

I do believe in secular views, but I am a realist on immigration reform, that the country is nervous about the influx of Latinos taking American jobs away, that's why the conservatives have been empowered since 2010.

The Obamacare bill did in some way hand alot of clout towards the Unions, due to the fact that Unions will have say-so over health care in the Workforce

Obama and Nancy Pelosi and Reid made the mistake of going after Health care, instead of first dealing with repeal of the Bush tax cuts and reforming the tax code.

This would of enabled the GOP not to make a tea party revolt against Obamacare package and won control of Congress.  We can't fault the Democrats that much, the very same thing happened in England.

I will also steal Lechasseur's model because why not.

Overview:
Social: Libertarianish
Economic: Center-Right by my own definition, but possibly Center or even Center-Left by American Conservative/Libertarian standards
Foreign policy: Dirty Globalist

Social Policy:
Abortion: Pro-choice until the point of viability, should only be legal if medically necessary after that point.
Same-Sex Marriage: Fully support, not that it's even controversial anymore.
Drug Laws: Legalize marijuana, LSD, and other psychedelics, decriminalize the rest, also nationwide medical marijuana
Death Penalty: Support for serial killers and other similarly high level crimes.
Gun Control: Support universal background checks and banning bump stocks, oppose banning "Assault Weapons" and most other forms of gun control.
Religious Freedom: Too broad of a subject to give a definitive answer on
Affirmative Action: Oppose
Political Correctness: Most people are too easily offended, especially on the right.
Euthanasia: Should be legal in cases of terminal illnesses, not sure about otherwise.
Prostitution: Legalize it.
Pornography: Support unrestricted so long as it depicts consenting adults
Immigration: While completely open borders and unregulated immigration is probably unfeasible, we should always err on the side of being accepting and open to immigration. Oppose separating families, support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, a border wall is an unnecessary waste of money.

Economic Policy:
Minimum Wage: Ideally, the federal minimum wage should be abolished, due to widely differing costs of living for different areas. Realistically, it should be kept fairly low, though I would support tying it to inflation.
Right to Work: Pretty apathetic tbh.
Taxation: Should be as low and simplified as realistically possible, income and carbon taxes are preferable to sales taxes.
Healthcare: At least a basic level of healthcare should be considered a right guaranteed by the government, though I am not opposed to the existence of private specialty plans.
Education: Support compition and school choice via measures like vouchers and charter schools.
Free Trade: I support expanding free trade to as many nations as possible, and free trade agreements like NAFTA are a net positive for all nations involved.

Foreign Policy and National Security:
Iran: Keep the Iran deal.
Syria: Ideally Assad should be removed from power, but I do not trust the current administration's judgement enough to fully back an intervention there.
Israel/Palestine: Two-state solution is ideal, but we need to go about in a way that doesn't jeopardize our alliance with Israel.
Russia: Putin is not and should not be thought of as our ally.

Environment:
Climate Change: End all government subsidies and support for traditional energy and instead invest in alternative energy, including nuclear energy.

Electoral and Political Reform:
Term limits: Not really necessary IMO.
Electoral College Reform: Ideally it should be eliminated, though I also like the idea of allocating them proportionally (e.g. if a candidate wins 40% of the vote in a state they get 40% of that state's EVs).
Voter ID: Oppose and support a vote-by-mail system.

Overview:
Social: Liberal to Libertarian
Economic: Centrist to Center-left.
Foreign policy: Globalist

Social Policy:
Abortion: Pro-choice. Federally fund Planned Parenthood.
Same-Sex Marriage: Fully support.
Drug Laws: Legalize, regulate, and tax marijuana. Decriminalize all other drugs.
Death Penalty: Strongly oppose.
Gun Control: Universal background checks, national registry, psychological evaluation, required training, ban gun show loophole, limit amount of ammunition that can be sold, ban assault weapons and the like.
Affirmative Action: Support.
Euthanasia: Support
Prostitution: Legalize, regulate, and tax.
Immigration: We need to make it way easier for people to come here legally. Provide amnesty and a path to citizenship for anybody here illegally, unless they've committed a violent crime. Increase the amount of immigrants we allow every year drastically.

Economic Policy:
Minimum Wage: Having a minimum wage that's the same everywhere is dumb. Require that states set it at 50% of the median wage.
Taxation: Consumption/Sin taxes > Income taxes. Ideally, we'd fund most of the government with a land-value, value-added, and carbon tax with a bunch of sin taxes sprinkled in there. Some level of income taxes for the wealthy.
Healthcare: I fluctuate between federally funded healthcare vouchers and a public option.
Education: Outlaw homeschooling, increase federal funding for education. Make it much harder for states to customize their education plans.
Free Trade: Strongly pro.

Foreign Policy and National Security:
Iran: Keep the Iran deal.
Syria: Assad is a war criminal and we should seek to remove him from power at some point.
Israel/Palestine: Pro-Israel.
Russia: Biggest threat to our national security.

Environment:
Climate Change: Carbon tax. Regulate what corporations can do. Tax cuts for green/alternative energy sources. Invest in nuclear energy.

Electoral and Political Reform:
Term limits: Only for the presidency.
Electoral College Reform: Abolish. Just make it a popular vote.
Voter ID: Oppose. Automatically register everyone at 18 and make "Election Day" several days instead of just one.

Voter ID: Oppose and support a vote-by-mail system.

Wow, I agree with you on like 90% of this.

Overview:

Social: Libertarian Socialist
Economic: Far left
Foreign Policy: Globalist

Social Policy:

Abortion: Pro-choice until the third trimester, when it should only be allowed if medically necessary.
Marriage: Fully support same-sex marriage.
Drugs: Legalize marijuana at the federal level, but alert the public of its potential negative impacts. Implement warning labels on all marijuana products.
Death Penalty: While I am not principally opposed to ending the lives of scumbags who commit crimes like murder and rape, I do not think that this should be decided by the state. Being locked up in a cell 23 hours a day is a worse punishment, anyways.
Gun Control: I support universal, extensive background checks that go far beyond those that are mandated today. I also support a ban on handguns, assault rifles, and bump stocks, and think that there should be limits on the amount of ammunition that can be purchased. All firearms need to be registered and stored in a secure location.
Religious Freedom: Allow everyone to worship however and whoever they wish, as long as they do not physically harm others. I support full separation of church and state on every level.
Affirmative Action: Oppose, in the majority of cases.
Political Correctness: I support full freedom of speech. I oppose complete political correctness, but people should not be threatened.
Euthanasia: I support euthanasia for people who are in their right minds and are suffering from a terminal illness.
Prostitution: I am principally opposed to prostitution. However, it is not the business of the state. Prostitution should be legalized and heavily regulated.
Pornography: Legalize all pornography, as long as it depicts consenting adults.
Immigration: I support a much less stringent immigration policy. I oppose separating families, and support a path to citizenship for legal immigrants and illegal immigrants who have not been convicted of a crime. I vehemently oppose a border wall.

Economic Policy:

Minimum Wage: I support a federal minimum wage of $15 an hour. This should be adjusted every year according to inflation.
Right-to-work: Right-to-work is a blatant insult to the honest working-class people of this nation. It should have been abolished decades ago.
Taxation: Taxation should be decreased for the poor and middle class, while the rich need to pay their fair share. I support a new, more efficient tax code that isn't Trump's.
Healthcare: I fully support universal healthcare. The United States is one of the only developed countries in the world that has not implemented this system. Even the German Empire had universal healthcare in the 1880s.
Education: I am fully opposed to vouchers. We need to create a comprehensive education plan that reinvests in and completely overhauls public schools. You know that we have a problem when a huge percentage of teenagers are depressed and even committing suicide.
Free Trade: I support free trade agreements that benefit American workers. The Trans-Pacific Partnership and NAFTA don't fall into this category.
NASA: Our current policy regarding space exploration is an utter joke. We need a renewed interest in space exploration. This may very well be the key to saving humanity in the future. New discoveries will vastly improve science, and boost our economy.

Foreign Policy:

Iran: The United States needs to reenter the deal reached under the Obama Administration. With no deal, the Iranians are free to develop as many nuclear weapons as they wish.
Syria: The United States needs to intervene in this conflict. There is a human rights emergency ongoing in Syria. Obama failed to deliver on his promise of intervention if Assad "crossed the line in the sand" by using chemical weapons on his people, an atrocity that he committed multiple times.
Israel/Palestine: I support a two-state solution.
Russia: Russia is one of our greatest adversaries. We turned a blind eye to the invasion and annexation of Crimea, and are now doing the same to Russian interference in the 2016 election. We need to change our approach to Russia.

Environment:

Climate Change: Coal is a dying industry, despite what Donald Trump may believe. Investing in and widely implementing renewable energy resources needs to be a top priority for the United States. The Paris Climate Agreement, which Trump withdrew from, is not stringent enough. Another, more adequate agreement needs to be reached worldwide.
Deforestation: The United States needs to commit to preserving the environments. Impose strict regulations on logging. Drastically expand existing protected areas, and create new ones. Make a commitment to protecting our environment.

Electoral and Political Reforms:

Term Limits: Abolish term limits for all offices. Presidential term limits were imposed by a Republican-controlled Congress after FDR served four terms in office.
Electoral College: Abolish the electoral college. The electoral college is a relic from the 19th century that has no place in today's world. Decide elections by popular vote.
Voter ID: I oppose voter ID. This puts minorities at a huge advantage, and if you look at the statistics, may have been the reason that Hillary Clinton lost Wisconsin and other states that were very close.

I'm a former Democrat. However, in recent years, I have become disillusioned with the fake, neoliberal party leadership, who I feel are not in touch with the majority of their voters. After experimenting with third parties, I became an independent about two years ago.

I'll use this model too because I definitely don't have anything better to do like studying for my finals.

Overview:
Social: Staunchly liberal, some libertarianish and some authoritarianish stances.
Economic: Center-left, more to the right on some issues and staunch left on others (such as healthcare).
Foreign policy: Globalist, pro-Israel, generally hawkish but not extremely so, opposing many interventions. I generally try to think in logical terms when it comes to intervention.

Social Policy:
Abortion: Staunchly pro-choice. I support completely free abortion to the point of viability or pain to the fetus, and after that I support committees that would make decision based on logic, science and morals. So there would be quite many reasons to allow an abortion, but when the months get really high (7-9) medical necessity and rape should be the only reasons.
Same-Sex Marriage: Full, staunch support. I view anyone who opposes it as a political rival of the highest grade.
Drug Laws: Legalize marijuanna for any purpose, decriminalize most other drugs but don't legalize them (except if there are any who aren't very harmful).
Death Penalty: Oppose except for extreme cases like genocide.
Gun Control: Support extensive gun control. Ideally, I'd prefer a situation where you need a lisence to own a gun, but recognize it's impossible in America so just support as many measures as can be passed. Against confiscations and the use of any power on law-abiding gun owners.
Religious Freedom: If it means the freedom to discriminate against minorities, no. Businesses that serve the general population should serve the general population or face penalties.
Affirmative Action: Generally oppose, but in some cases in which there was a clear historical wrong and a way to fix it without directly harming others, support.
Political Correctness: Generally annoying. People on both sides are too easily offended, but I'd also add that it's not an excuse to break polite discourse and to make vicious attacks. So no, acting like Trump is not OK.
Euthanasia: Yes, in cases of terminal illness and when the patient clearly wishes it.
Prostitution: Really on the fence. On the one hand, brothel owners are abusive scum for the most part, on the other hand, if it's illegal it might harm women. Right now, I'd say make it illegal and make an extensive government program to save these poor women.
Pornography: Absolutely no restrictions if no one is permanently harmed in the process (that includes consent and legal age)
Immigration: In Europe- restrict it from the huge numbers right now and take action to combat illegal immigration. In the U.S.- more humane border security, easier legal immigration. No open bordrs, obviously, but the U.S. is way too hawkish on immigration. In Israel- current situation, let every Jew get a citizenship and for the other cases, only grant citizenships in rare cases. Take only a small number of refugees and find a country willing to receive the many illegal immigrants who are already here and have done visible damage to southern Tel Aviv. If anyone wants me to explain the diffence in my views on the three categories, I will- I assure you there are reasons.

Economic Policy:
Minimum Wage: Enough to live, but not terribly high to not discourage businesses. But it's absurd if your salary is not enough for you to live normally if you're economically responsible.
Right to Work: Staunchly against. I support unions, but I also oppose letting their leaders become too powerful and corrupt.
Taxation: Depends. Generally, I support fairly high taxes to cover the government expenses and reduce debt and deficit, but taxing income is great while high taxes on products and imports (aka tarriffs) is not something I support.
Healthcare: Free or nearly-free universal quality healthcare for everyone, with the option to expand the coverage privately if you can afford it.
Education: Strongly for a national core, support public schools but also school choice, and support subsidized higher education but not free.
Free Trade: Big supporter! I'd like to have as many trade agreements and trade regions as possible, with the end result being a world where the exchange of tradeable goods is easy and the costs are therefore low.

Foreign Policy and National Security:
Iran: Increase sanctions and push for a complete dismantling of the nuclear program save for limited peaceful nuclear energy facilities.
Syria: Now it's probably too late and intervening would be dangerous and bog the U.S. down. But generally, I think Obama should've jumped in and helped bring a resolution before Russia could gain a footing. As an Israeli, I strongly support bombing any weapon delivery to Hezbollah.
Israel/Palestine: Strong support for Israel, but also strong push for a two-state solution. Put pressure on all sides (Israel, Palestinians, Arab countries) but especially the latter two since most of the pressure to concede was on Israel for a long while. But if the Bibi government refuses to play along, make the necessary threats in cutting support.
Russia: Putin is evil and one of the most dangerous world leaders today. Tread carefully, but with strength- move NATO troops into countries like the Blatics, Poland and Finland, work to add Georgia to the alliance and put troops there too. Strong pressue and support for Ukraine in order to bring this conflict to a resolution, and afterwards, add Ukraine to NATO too and put troops there. Containing the Russian agression into its borders is important. Also, heavy sanctions on Chechnya, as heavy as the ones on North Korea.

Environment:
Climate Change: Stop subsidizing coal and oil. Let the former die, and try to reduce the latter but keep using it to remain competitive until alternate energy becomes completely feasible. Invest strongly in alt energy, international cooperation to greatly reduce omissions and water pollution, high carbon taxes.

Electoral and Political Reform:
Term limits: Yes for Presidents\Prime Ministers- Americans should be thankful that they won't be stuck with anyone for more than 8 years, unlike us in Israel. No term limits for congress, though.
Electoral College Reform: I'm kinda fond of this system tbh, it makes the states unique. But yeah, allocate them proportionally and increase their numbers to fully account for population.
Voter ID: Oppose, and people shouldn't need to register to vote. Just let them vote, you already have an extremely low turnout.

Overview:

Social: Liberal
Economic: Center-left, ďinclusive capitalismĒ
Foreign policy: Centrist/maybe center-left

Social Policy:

Abortion: Iím pro-choice.
Same-Sex Marriage: Iím strongly in favor of SSM. The government should actively encourage homosexuality.
Drug Laws: Legalize but heavily tax and regulate marijuana. End the ďWar on Drugs.Ē Discourage tobacco consumption via cig. taxes, mandatory labeling, and informercials that warn of the dangers of tobacco. Stop big tobacco from selling their cancer sticks to children in developing countries. The minimum age to smoke should be 21 and the minimum age to consume tobacco and alcohol should be 19. Decriminalize but donít legalize all other drugs like LSD, heroin, meth, etc.
Death Penalty: Oppose with exceptions for those who commit the most heinous crimes (like mass murder or genocide). There are waaaaaay to many people sentenced to the death penalty in the US. Itís absolutely disgusting that hundreds (maybe thousands?) of people are sentenced to it every year. It should be used around once or twice a year at the absolute most.
Gun Control: I support enacting universal background checks, banning bump stocks and assault weapons, and other gun control measures. I obviously oppose banning all guns, but there is not a single politician in America who actually wants to do that despite what the NRA would have you believe.
Religious Freedom: It depends on the definition of ďreligious freedom.Ē Everyone should have the right to practice any religion. Businesses shouldnít be allowed to discriminate based on race or sexual orientation.
Affirmative Action: Affimative action should be based on socioeconomic class, not race.
Political Correctness: It depends, but I oppose it in most cases.
Euthanasia: Support, I guess.
Prostitution: The act of exchanging money for sex should be legalized, but it should remain illegal to start a prostitution-based business. Businessmen shouldnít be allowed to exploit women for profit.
Pornography: It should quite obviously remain legal. I donít even understand how it would be possible to ban all pornography. Is there anyone who actually supports a ban on pornography!?
Immigration: Open borders is a great but unrealistic idea. However, we should loosen immigration laws, grant amnesty to all non-violent illegals (aka nearly every illegal immigrant since data has shown that almost every single one of them is non-violent despite what conservatives would have you believe).

Economic Policy:

Minimum Wage: Raise it to $10.10 an hour and tie it to inflation. A nationwide $15 minimum wage is an absolutely awful idea that would kill jobs. A better alternative would be a universal basic income of $1500 a month (which I enthusiastically support).
Right to Work: Oppose
Taxation: Tax capital gains and carried interest as regular income, implement a steep carbon tax, cut regressive sales taxes (except for sin taxes), close all offshore loopsholes, keep the corporate tax at 20%, raise the top income tax bracket to 50%. Tax negative externalities like carbon, soda, cigarettes, alcohol, plastic bags, etc.
Rich people: I love all people, rich and poor. The only thing I hate is hate itself. I love the rich people. Most rich people are great with a few exceptions. I donít approve of the hateful, bigoted, divisive rhetoric from the far-left that demonizes/dehumanizes the rich and blames the ďthe millionaires and billionairesĒ for all of our problems (no one group of people is responsible for all of our problems). However, the rich should pay more in taxes and that tax money should be redistributed to the masses.
Universal Basic Income: Support. It should be set at $1500 a month and tied to inflation.
Healthcare: Universal, single-payer healthcare. Nationalize the health insurance industry. I wholeheartedly support Medicare-for-All.
Education: I have nothing against charter schools, but the government shouldnít subsidize them and should instead focus on improving public schools. Too much funding is being diverted away from public schools that desperately need it because of government funding for charter schools. There also needs to be much, much tighter regulations on charter schools. There are way too many cases of fraudulent charter schools.
Free Trade: Completely unrestricted free trade should be the ulitimate goal that all governments should strive towards. I wholeheartedly support trade deals like NAFTA, TPP, CAFTA, etc. Protectionism is bad for everyone, especially the global poor.

Foreign Policy and National Security:

Iran: Support the Iran deal.
Syria: We shouldíve intervened years ago, but now is way too late. Donít intervene and let the situation take care of itself. Assad is a horrid man and we should intervene if the situation gets too dire.
Israel/Palestine: Iím pro-Israel and moderately Zionist, but I also strongly support a two-state solution and donít approve of Israelís treatment of Palestinians.
Russia: Putin is certainly not our ally.

Environment:

Climate Change: Subsidize clean energy sources such as thorium, solar, wind, and maybe nuclear energy, rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement, end subsidies for coal and oil, and slowly eliminate the use of coal as an energy source and shut down every single coal mine in America within the next the decade (alongside heavy investment in retraining miners and helping them find new jobs).

Electoral and Political Reform:

Term limits: Support for the POTUS. Oppose for Congress.
Electoral College Reform: Abolish the Electoral College and replace it with a first-past-the-post system.
Voter ID: Oppose. We should have universal voter registration and Election Day should be a national holiday.

LABELS
Social: Liberal
Economic: Left
Foreign Policy: Dove
Party: Democratic

SOCIAL ISSUES
Abortion: Pro-choice. Every school needs comprehensive sex ed. Fund Planned Parenthood.
Same-sex Marriage: Of course.
Drugs: End the War on Drugs; decriminalize all drugs. Legalize and tax soft drugs like marijuana and psilocybin.
Death Penalty: Oppose.
Gun Control: Support stricter regulations, background checks, Canadian-style.
Prostitution: Decriminalize.
Euthanasia: Support.
Immigration: Create a broad, expedient means of attaining citizenship for all immigrants. Keep families together. Pushing away migrants fleeing epidemic organized violence is profoundly un-American. No official language. Abolish ICE as well, probably.
Police and Prisons: Support anti-bias training, officer accountability. Oppose for-profit prisons.

ECONOMIC ISSUES
Minimum Wage: Raise and adjust with inflation.
Healthcare: Support a single-payer universal system.
Trade and Globalization: Support free trade.
Campaign Finance: Limit campaign donations. Oppose Citizens United decision.
Energy: Pro-nuclear. Pro-solar. Pro-wind. Anti-coal. Support 100% renewable energy.
Taxes: Progressive income tax.

FOREIGN POLICY ISSUES
Foreign Funding: Do not fund or arm countries with serious human rights violations.
Israel and Palestine: Two states, perhaps with UN zone.
Russia: Impose strict sanctions. Putin is a dangerous tyrant and his regime holds no regard for international law.

CLIMATE CHANGE: Perhaps the most serious issue out there. Aggressively conserve the environment and regulate industry and energy to reduce carbon emissions. Do not allow National Monuments to be shrunk except in extraordinary circumstances and do not allow "unintentional" taking of birds under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Pursue solutions in every way imaginable as quickly as possible.

I'll base mine on the guy right before me.

Labels:
Social: Totalitarian
Economic: Full Communism
Foreign Policy: Racial Nationalist/Proletarian Internationalist/Maoist Third-Worldist
Party: NACAZAI

Social Issues:
Abortion: Total ban in all cases except eugenics, race-mixing and rape. Death penalty for Jew abortionists.
Same-Sex Marriage: f****ts and bull dykes forced back in the closet with "gay pride" activists shoved into Gulags. However, bisexual women are fine if they are hot and make me masturbate. Nazbols realize lesbian erotica is a great propaganda tool.
Drugs: Legalize marijuana, decriminalize users and low level dealers of hard drugs, death penalty for Jewish/capitalist importers and traffickers of hard drugs
Death Penalty: used on pedophiles, the class enemy and various race and class traitors.
Euthanasia: Mandatory for Downies, the hydrocephalic and other dysgenic freaks.
Immigration: all non-White immigration banned and non-Whites repatriated unless they are only here as students, studying tactics for the Marxist overthrow of the neocolonial ZOG puppets in their own countries
Police and Prisons: ACAB.  the police. Destroy the current prison system which is a capitalist torture chamber for the poor and oppressed. Under the dictatorship of the proletariat, Gulags and secret police would be employed liberally for class enemies and class traitors.

Economic Issues:
Minimum Wage: Equal living wages for all workers.
Healthcare: total collectivization of health care, execute all capitalists who try to profit
Trade and Globalization: Unite with revolutionary communists and anti-imperialists all over the world for the destruction of WTO, IMF, World Bank, etc. Overturn the disaster of (((globalization))). Free trade of revolutionary Marxist-Leninist philosophical ideas between Socialist nations.
Campaign Finance: Finance revolutionary Marxist guerilla campaigns all over the world.
Energy: Use the flesh and blood of dead Zionists as fuel to heat the homes of the poor and working class.
Taxes: 100% tax on all capitalists to fund unlimited welfare for poor whites.

Foreign Policy Issues:
Foreign Funding: Fund revolutionary communist subversion and terror as well as bourgeois nationalist Third Positionist anti-imperialist strongmen all over the world.

Israel and Palestine: Off the planet with the fascist Zionist terror state of Israel! Total support for PFLP, DFLP, PFLP-GC Palestinian Popular Brigades and the Abu Nidal Organization. Long live Palestine, free and Arab, from the river to the sea, forever!
Russia: Rebuild the USSR.
Venezuela: Unconditional internationalist solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution against the Jewish-led fascist counterrrevolution.
Syria: Victory to Assad, death to the ZOG.
