Gay marriage: oppose legalization, although I am moving more liberally on it

Prostitution: oppose legalization, but let states regulate it
Stem cell research: lukewarmly support it

Economic Issues:
Balanced budget amendment: support

Minimum Wage: should not be increased, leads to higher prices, hurts the poor deeply
Medicare: I support Ryan plan, Medicare should be privatized
Social security: retirement age should be raised to 68, institute chained-CPI, social security should be privatized, (Social Security and Medicare have to be privatized in order to be there for future generations)
Subsidies: end them all
Taxation: there should a flat tax, tax system should not punish success
Unions: strongly oppose unions, support right-to-work laws

Electoral reform:
Compulsory voting: oppose it, people should have the right to decide if they want to vote or not

Electoral college: get rid of it
Instant runoff-voting: support, cheaper solution to making sure candidate wins 50%
Gerrymandering: should be banned, Iowa style system

Miscellaneous: support voting at any precinct (Lubbock), eliminate conventions (undemocratic)

Environment:
Climate change: not much evidence it is happening
Green energy: should not be aided, let them compete on their own
Keystone XL: support it, either way the oil will be sold, better to have it be transported by safer pipelines than rail, also better to have it used in US with higher environmental standards than China

Foreign policy:
Afghanistan: should leave in a few years, leave a contingent force
Cuba: support embargo, Cuba's communism, lack of freedom, human rights' abuses are unacceptable
Guantanamo: nothing wrong with it
Iraq: support it, should have left a contingent there, deterrent against Iran, current problems: stay out until new government, do not support Iranian puppet Al-Maliki

Military spending: no change
NSA spying: support it
Patriot Act: support continuation of it with more restrictions
Palestine: no Palestinian state until they  denounce terrorism (Hamas), stop harassment of Israel
