I've stared this after quite a good forum chat about architecture. Come in here and dump the old, new, good, bad and ugly.

The Reid Building has crash landed in Glasgow. An extension of the Glasgow School of Art and facing onto Mackintosh's 'iconic' building it seems to be met with little criticism








Like it's counterpart, it's out of place in Glasgow in comparison to it's neighbours. Or is it? Behind the new building is a building I know very well; it's my old school




In 1998 they constructed a controversial but award winning Junior School



Then this;


And then the Jesuit's got in on the act and constructed this new residency


The two competing campuses in a battle for land

They are all within two blocks of each other.

As for me? I'm so used and so in love with this style in this part of the of the city, I just love it Smiley
