43rd President of the United States: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W._Bush

Last one. Not doing an Obama poll as he is still governing and it would be unfair of us to judge him without all eight years in. I will do a summary thread of the series Friday.

Probably the president that has done some of the most damage to our country, heavy HP.

I voted HP, but I think he was Cheney's proxy President, so I give him leniency.

No, it's fact that Bush was terrible. Also, it's fitting that his poll was created on April Fools Day.

Everyone, let's get him to single digits!

Bush was one of the worst presidents we've ever had. Only Andrew Johnson and Buchanan were worse. He plunged us into debt, he started a war on false pretenses that was never paid for, and various other crappy things.

Voted FF as a pushback to the ridiculous HP percentage for a basically well-intentioned person, but really he was far from ideal.

I dunno, massive deficit spending and expansion of the regulatory state sounds pretty far-left to me.

Bush is in the top 5 worst presidents. I think the only good thing he did for the country was the Do Not Call List and one can easily argue it violates the principle of free enterprise. You'd have thought a president with an MBA would have been far more competent.

AIDS was fizzing out on its own, so his contribution was minimal.

Doesn't seem right to call him an FF, considering the Patriot Act, but he certainly isn't an HP. He kept Putin in check. He effectively put Hussein in a hangman's noose. Bush admin and Fed Bank (Bernanke) forced China to start floating the yuan, which earned Bernanke a big promotion.

If Obama had half of Bush's executive talent, the recession would have been over in 2010.
