IRL the Grits were in the mid/high 40s when those elections were called. After 6 weeks of Pearson campaigning, ended rather differently. So let's say Pearson runs better campaigns and wins about 150 seats. What would be different from his RL premiership? Things I can think of: not as much scandal focus since they won't be forced into parliamentary inquiries. Pearson fights a final election in '67. Dief could be forced out quicker, though still very difficult. Sharp or Hellyer would look better as leadership prospects.

Not really much to say about this except that it would butterfly away Trudeau Smiley. Where are your getting the polling data from RB?

Newman's Distemper of Our Times. Indeed, with a Pearson majority in '62 the Marchand/Pelletier/PET troika wouldn't be recruited. A policy consequence is that public employees will not be unionized, something Marchand pushed and Pearson did reluctantly.

I feel like that would have happened eventually as it's happened everywhere
