Nice comeback by Crist. I dont think people want to see LePage, Scott or Corbett back.

Had the pleasure of meeting the man himself yesterday. Glad to see he's still ahead despite Scott's ads.

How much $$$$$ does Crist have overall from his 2010 U.S. Senate campaign and over to this year's governor's race ?

Florida Democrats should be ashamed as to where their statewide party is given the changes in the demographics of the state over the past 20 years.  The race shouldn't be that close and in the end, given the weakness of the statewide party and Charlie Crist's own issues (i.e. flip-flopping), my money is on another term for Scott.

Strange, then, that the FDP really began to decline 20 years ago. In large part that was to be expected - the party's base at that time was North Florida, which was declining, while the Republicans were based in Pinellas especially. A realignment like what's happening in Florida takes time to bring to fruition, and the GOP seems to have just taken advantage of the chaos (snapping up northern/Southern whites while still holding onto a strong bench in the other areas).

LeBron James could trounce Scott in the governor's race.

I mean, the FL Democrats are acting like scarred kids, who wet the bed in crunch time.

Eventually there will be a thug that will whip that party into shape and bring millions into the state party. It will probably happen if Democrats lose 3 or 4 of 2014 2016 2018 and 2020 and poor performance in Florida gets blamed the same way poor performance in Nevada and Colorado was partially blamed in 2000 and 2002.

He is not eligible to be governor.

Even though LeBron played alright last night, I imagine last night's pounding in Miami would hurt his chances.
