Weak lead. Come September, the GOTV efforts of Big Labor will be out for bear.

For once I think a Michigan pollster is very accurate.

There's always this warning. It didn't happen with Scott Walker, it didn't happen with the previous Michigan Republican, I'm not sure it's happening with Rick Snyder.

I haven't seen ads from either candidate in quite a while, so this looks like a reversion to earlier polling--before Schauer aired any ads, and before Snyder aired the Super Bowl ad.

It's a strange world where the most important issues in an election in Michigan might have less to do with jobs and social issues--and more to do with the DIA and our roads.

For what it's worth, I don't believe I've seen a RTW ad yet.

Blks are the big story in this poll. They may be the ones that are underpolled especiallyconcerning Schauer not Peters.

I doubt it.  Most polls I've seen have had him leading by more.

Outside of Pa and Me, we have a 3rd pickup opportunity in FL or MI. Most Blks know who Peters is but not Schauer. Rassy and Survey havent polled this race thus far and Peters extends his lead. All PPP polls have Schauer down by five.
