Argentine President Isabel Martinez de Peron's government crushed the coup attempt instigated by Lt.Gen. Jorge Videla and others involved in the attempted coup. Videla and other military leaders were later sent to prison.

The scheduled elections go ahead set for 1977 and she wins a full term as President in her own right.

How does this impact Argentina politics if there wasn't a coup against Isabel in 1976 and would her government been able to stop terrorist attacks from left-wing groups, etc.,
