Ah, if it only includes landlines, then it's inherently biased toward McDaniel.  Cell phone users are generally younger and more Democrat, and since MS is open primary, I suspect most of them would support Cochran.

Either way, I hope he can pull this out.  I'd hate to throw a safe seat away on "Mamacita."

Oh, yes. There is nothing more important to Democrats than to vote for Cochran in the Republican primary. /s

Amusing how Oldiesfreak is suddenly keen on noticing sampling methods that undersample the Democratic electorate when it suits his purposes.

Younger people who will vote in this particular primary are certainly not more likely to support Cochran. The sort of person who primarily uses a landline is exactly the sort of person on whose support Cochran relies.

If Democrats can barely get their supporters to show up in their own primaries, what makes you think they'll show up in a Republican primary

Why are you scared of a guy who lost his last election by 14 points?

You have it backwards, McDaniel appeals to younger conservatives, older people who know Cochran better are more likely to vote for him. Besides all the momentum and money is going to McDaniel too.

Southern blacks are very conservative on lifestyle choices, and they have well-established  cause to distrust white people who through their crude expressions of sexuality expose themselves as "sex bombs". No matter how hypocritical people may seem in the South -- you watch your mouth on sex, whatever your race or whatever the race of the people who may be listening.
