PPP surveyed 682 Kentucky voters from June 20th to 22nd. The margin of error for the survey is +/- 3.8%. 80% of interviews for the poll were conducted over the phone with 20% interviewed over the internet to reach respondents who don’t have landline telephones. The poll was sponsored by Americans for Tax Fairness Action Fund, a project of the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Apparently this was done for a leftist tax group and is not a poll paid for by PPP itself.

It seems you generally have to subtract about 2-3% from the Democratic margin in these cases where PPP does a poll for one of their clients ... Tongue

Add 5+ for McConnell, just because everyone is anti-Republican it seems.....

Seriously, though, there was another poll that had Grimes up three, so it's not a stretch to believe that she is in the lead.

When will Sabato switch this to toss up (or at least lean R) and stop embarrassing himself?

Though I can see him bragging about how he "had it right all along" even if McConnell wins by like 2 points.

Republicans cannot win the Senate without holding onto contested seats in both Georgia and Kentucky. If they lose either, then they have also lost races in Alaska, Arkansas, Louisiana, and North Carolina.

Defeating an incumbent who wields power within the Senate is ordinarily unthinkable.

Nearly a mirror image of Tom Daschle in 2004, so far.
