Let's take a moment to laugh at the incumbent Lt. Governor, who placed Dead Last.

Actually, looks like he placed third, with Hanaway in 4th. But still, a pretty bad showing for Kinder.

Kinder is a joke and always has been.

Glad to see that the most tolerable Republican candidate won. I guess there's still hope for this state.

And now we have a former Democrat turned Republican vs. a former Republican turned Democrat. This may get exciting!

If Greitens wins the general, I guarantee he runs for President sometime in the 2020s. Book it.

He's a weak candidate in general. Look at all his elections at Lt. Gov... he never broke the 50% mark. This doesn't surprise me at all.

Well, some personal issues aside, I like him. I would not say he is terribly week. With the exception fo the Presidential vote, he was the only statewide Republican victory in 2008 and 2012.

[I voted for him in the general election in 2008 and 2012, do not get mad!]

And on a side note, @CountyTy90, your name is the most atlas name I have ever seen!

Well,
Thanks god Donald Trump is the republican nominee. Have republicans nominated someone who wasn"t a total nutter, Greitens would have had it in the bag.

An end to one of the most grim statewide primaries in recent memory.  Did they ever look into those suicides that happened last year?

The geography here is interesting to note. Greitens and Hathaway both were serious competitors in the middle. Brunner won the southwest and did pretty good in the northeast. Kinder won the southeast. However, Greitens strong performance against Hathaway in her home region, central Missouri, and his overwhelming victories in the northwest and north/south central Missouri solidified his victory.
