Higuain scores the winner in the 93rd! Cheesy

In Germany, Dortmund lose. Again. They've solidified their last place spot. Such a genuine shame.

Love Kane. The Madrid Derby should hopefully also end correctly.

Bayern back on the winning side.

2-0 in Stuttgart.

Plus a fantastic free-kick goal from David Alaba:

And in other news, Dortmund finally won a match and Aston Villa actually scored a goal. What a day.

Gentlemen. It returns today.

I fully expect Chelsea to dominate. Bayern to win but narrowly. Maybe 2-1.

I don't follow the Ligue 1 but I do know that PSG is struggling against much less monied teams. Chelsea and Bayern will win today.

Ibra almost with the winner. Meanwhile, Shakhtar get the draw at "home."

PSG looked incredible all game. So many opportunities even before that last chance prior to the corner. Hard to say they should have pulled it out because they really were an underdog and you can't expect to execute on all your opportunities vs. Chelsea, but it's tough to fight so hard just leave home with a draw. Chelsea still pretty heavily favored to advance, but momentum could play a role.

Having watched the highlights, it looks like PSG really dominated Chelsea. Pretty classic Di Mattero-era champions league performance. Of course, Di Matteo was a loveable underdog, while Mourinho is literally the opposite of that. But I suspect Chelsea will know how to take care of business at Stamford Bridge, 1-0 or so.

Basel takes a fantastic early lead!! I'm starting to believe now. Unfortunately, I only have the Spanish stream going. Unbelievable, Fox Sports.

What could take people's attention away from the Sacchi drama? Some Capello comments on the matter and more! - http://m.goal.com/s/en/news/9049022?ICID=HP

Huge Europa League matches today especially with Italian vs. British matchups. Remember: Serie A is the only league with all of their eligible sides (six) still in European competition. We usually don't take EL very seriously (it isn't the 90s anymore) but this year should - and must - be different.

Villareal vs. Salzburg today in the EL.

Should be a fun, but tough game (especially after 3 important players left Salzburg over the winter pause).

Napoli romped to victory in Turkey, 4-0. Cheesy

Overall, a positive day for Italian teams but Torino and especially Roma were a little disappointing. Speaking of Roma, Feyenoord fans caused chaos in many of the tourist areas of the city before the game: 28 arrested and vandalism near the Spanish Steps.

Was indeed an interesting game.

Villareal won 2-1, but Salzburg managed to score an away goal.

Which means everything is still possible at the home game.

United and Barca both lose to Swansea and Malaga respectively, Chelsea tie Burnley at home, and Atleti are up 2-0 inside 20 minutes. Good day, good day.
