I'm feeling really good about this, now that even $h!tty, GOP-leaning, Michigan-based pollsters are showing a consistent lead.

I wouldn't exactly call a 9-pt lead "dominating."  It's certainly a significant lead, but not a huge one.  And there's still plenty of time for things to change.

Plus, there's no way Snyder is only leading by 3 points.  Most polls have had it higher than that.

Nearly every single poll (except for the Denno Research poll) has shown Schauer closing the gap since May. You're going to have to open your mind to the idea that--while Schauer obviously isn't leading right now--this is getting a lot closer.

Land is a poor candidate, she attended a Chamber of Commerce event and failed at answering questions, so much so, that the Chamber endorsed Peters. Not that this really made much of a difference, as Peters was always going to pull away, but Land proving to be a poor candidate doesn't support the notion that this race will get closer later on, she just doesn't have what it takes to pull that off.

To those of us who know better, the "Terri Lynn Land is a Formidable Candidate" talk has always been hilarious. To be fair, Nate Silver was guilty of this. As a Michigan native, he should know better.
