I starting to become irritated by immature comments made by some of the younger members. Most of the time they don't know what they are talking about and usually just immitate the idiots they see on cable news.

Example of an immature comment:

Is anyone with me on this?

This really has very little to do with age, honestly, beyond the assumed maturity. There are plenty of young people who are perfectly mature, and there are some who aren't. That's a rather sweeping generalization to make.

Immature is too broad a term for just one example. There are two categories: funny and irritating. Don't confuse them.

No, it isn't; I have to listen to opinions I disagree with. Sad

Just curious, why'd you think I was 12. I hope I don't sound like a pre-teen.

Could you your username - Jr.

Seriously though, it's really hard to tell a person's age by their maturity level - especially online.  Some of the members here who strike me as quite mature and reasonable are also quite young (i.e. ilikeverin); and I've known enough zealots in real life to see that neither age nor intelect is always an indicator of sense, much less maturity.  (Check out a college frat party some time - supposedly intellegent people trying to get alcohol poisioning - drink til you puke they call it).
