I could see Cuomo losing a lot of margin upstate and in contested Congressional races, but remaining more stable in the areas where nobody is paying attention.  That is, I expect the pattern will have Hawkins mimicking Teachout's areas of support.

It's becoming increasingly clear that between Teachout getting one third of the vote and his book bombing, Cuomo has had some sort of mental breakdown.

Astronino's campaign is calling registered Democrats on Long Island with Romney.   I just got a robocall from Mitt Romney urging me to vote for Astronino.......

Hopefully she'll run for statewide office again and win. Teachout likely knows she needs machine support and if she betrays them she'll never win.

Do you guys think Astorino could hold Cuomo to a 10% or so margin? Cuomo's campaign seems to be a disaster at this point, he looked like a waffling incompetent with the ebola nurse thing, and it looks like Hawkins will get at least 7%.

Nah, although I do think Cuomo is going to bomb hard in the parts of the state that Teachout did well in. I'd be shocked if he hit 60% statewide at this point.

I think it will end up being something like 57-35-7

Yeah, that sounds about right, especially after the Marist poll.

I think that's a pretty safe bet. Cuomo is about as popular as Ebola upstate these days.

I doubt this will be true, but this little tidbit appeared in Dicker's column in today's New York Post:

The main article discusses how Cuomo is setting himself up for a 2020 run if Hillary loses in 2016.

To be fair, deep down I think Cuomo prefers if the State Senate goes back to GOP.  This way he has a way to hedge himself against De Blasio.

For the forth year in a row, I was voter number 1 in my Scarsdale voting location.  I did consider voting for Cuomo on the Independence line but in the end went with Astorino.  I congratulate Cuomo on his expected victory and wish him all the best in his second term hopefully working hand-in-hand with the new GOP state senate.

There's no real chance of Cuomo coming in under 50% unfortunately. Dicker is trolling as usual.

He won't be cracking 60% this time though. Praise Allah!

Hawkins didn't crack 5%.

That means he won't get his own button on Dave's map.
