I went to the newsagents at 9.30 and there were none left! Do you know if the political compass is on-line?

Thanks,

Dave

On social issues, I scored 34 and on economic issues, I scored 29

I'm a centrist with authoritarian and left wing tendencies

Closest political party is the Labour Party (though I'm to the right of it) and the closest personality to me is the Dalai Lama (I'm more right wing than him and he's less authoritarian than me)

On social issues, I scored 35, similar to yourself, but got 61 on economic issues placing me between Thatcher and Reagan on the scale, close to Libertarian country!

I had described myself as a Centrist with authoritarian and left wing tendencies but on reflection I'm perhaps a Moderate Left Wing Authoritarian (I'm in the lower left side quadrant of the Centrist square)

While, this test is rated 0-80, my findings roughly correlate with that of www.issues2000.org where I score 45% on personal issues and 38% on economic issues. Translating the Times compass on a scale of 0-100, I score 43% on social issues and 36% on economic issues (meaning I'm slightly less liberal on social issues and slightly more populist on economic issues)

In sum, therefore, I find both findings pretty consistent
