Good news for Udall, for sure.  This is the first poll he's had outside the Margin of Error in a while.

It also seems that Colorado is not having the RV -> LV problems for Dems that exists for other states.

More Democratic states should move to a vote by mail system like Colorado, Oregon and Washington.

Washington already does, IIRC

The hell are you talking about? Marist is a decent polling firm.

They probably are a poor pollster for Florida or something like that (like Quinnipiac ain't so great in Colorado). Either way, this is disappointing.

Discussions of individual polling firm accuracy aside, however, keep in mind that Democrats routinely do better than the polls show they will in Colorado (as is the case in Nevada; probably something to do with polling Spanish speakers).

It's pretty obvious Gardner has been feeling this race slipping away from him. He's trying really hard to move to the center. Recently, he released an ad putting him to the LEFT on Udall on birth control (calling for over the counter birth control pills). Gardner is easily one of the biggest flip-floppers of the 2014 cycle.

I agree, I don't think Gardner is going to be able to pull off a victory.

To be fair, he started the cycle by flipping on abortion, and I don't think anyone else could be doing as well as he is doing right now.

I think he's calling him a Democratic hack (which yes, is very ironic), because Lief is standing by a poll that is very favorable for the Democratic candidate. But yeah I agree, it's pretty ridiculous.

KCDem keeps getting called a dem hack (because he is one) so he attacks the poll that shows a leading dem in order to seem nonhackish, and then calls out others for hackishness in trying to keep up his cover. lol

Umm...no. Udall isn't polling 6 ahead of Gardner. He may win by 6, but this race is closer. Also, Marist is a joke pollster.
