Release.

LoBiondo (R)- 44%
Hughes (D)- 38%

With leaners pushed,

LoBiondo- 47%
Hughes- 42%

Underwhelming poll for LoBiondo, as this poll doesn't look Democratic-aligned.

Assad will come to the rescue and deliver The Base.

(LoBiondo will not win by only six.)

Funny you should mention that. There's actually still a ''Mike Assad for Congress'' sign by the Southwest Blvd. entrance to the Cumberland Mall in Vineland.

I'm a resident of NJ-02. I'm seeing more Hughes activity than I have for any Democrat challenger over the past few cycles (he has a campaign office in Ocean City, more lawn signs, more media presence). If he does decently but loses, I bet Hughes will opt for a rematch in 2016, jmho.

Hughes is obviously running to set himself up for the future so he's guaranteed to go for a 2016 rematch. We'll see how well he does this year though. If the Dems come close enough, a few other serious Dems might want to get in on it.
