East Asians being more GOP-leaning than South Asians (and more relatively affluent Hispanics being more likely to have more European ancestry) are both matters of economic status.

Surely, if you categorise people by race and skin tone within race, you are going to wind up with cross tabs that are small enough to have a pretty high margin of error?

Also, I'd assume whiet skinned Latinos are far wealthier than darker skinned ones to begin with, as social class in Latin America is very strongly linked to skin colour.

That's true. The natives are the poorests, the Mestizos are in the middle and Europeans are at the top of many communities in South America.

It's kind of like the Hindu Caste system.  Indian civilization has been around for about 4500 years. I wonder what American civilization will be like in the year 6100. I would make a thread about that but I doubt anyone would bite.

That's not really true. Vietnamese are the most GOP leaning group and also have one of the lowest median income among Asian ethnic groups. Indians on the other hand are one of the most Democratic but have the highest median income. Japanese also have a very high median income but vote heavily for the Democrats.

Correct. It isn't true and I gave a brief explanation of this here.

This is pretty much everything that is wrong with modern journalism. Take a fact that is technically true and distort the context for a clickbait headline. Maybe something in the history of Cuba and Vietnam leads their light skinned immigrants and descendents to vote more Republican than the typically darker skinned Indians and Dominicans.  Gee wonder what that might be Roll Eyes Long story short, making generalizations about "Hispanics" and especially "Asians" should yield death points.
