I know I'm going to come off as a general public idiot by saying this, but really in all seriousness, the only poll that will matter with this one is Election Day

I still am of the theory that Hickenlooper pulls it out narrowly.

I feel greedy for wanting both big statewide races. But to rebuke Udall's despicable abortion campaign AND take the governor' s mansion.
I'll likely need a paper bag on Election Night. It has been a long decade here. Let me tell you.

I'm still going to say that Gardner is the stronger candidate than Beauprez. It will be a Hickenlooper win and Gardner win in November.

This would be my ideal scenario, but I hope enough voters are willing to split tickets. I wouldn't mind if Beauprez won, but I'd be sad to see Hickenlooper lose reelection - of course not at the expense of a rising star in Gardner. If I have one true care, it's seeing Gardner in the Senate

Wasn't Beauprez like a 3rd tier candidate? It's pretty stunning he's doing so well.

Not really. He is pretty close to top-tier, but a poor '06 gubernatorial run really weakened him in the eyes of many.

Hickenlooper is running a better campaign than Udall, but he's not really doing a good job either (plus he's made more people angry over his actual tenure). Beauprez isn't necessarily a bad candidate, but his views are pretty out there (he's a birther, believes in personhood, ect. ect.)
