21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

I've never considered a sleeping spell, which lasts more than 2 hours, a nap.

A genuine nap, in my mind, is like an hour, tops.

I'm at a loss as to how his parents have refused to put their feet down over these expensive habits and distractions.

Instead they're eager to keep feeding this lifestyle.

He can do whatever He wants and no one can deny that. 

No no no no no no no. He cannot go against His law. He put himself under the law He created.

God is above all worldly laws.

Think of when the pharaoh was oppressing the Israelites. What did God do? He, through Moses, went to the pharaoh (submitting to the anointed powers of the world as God commands us) and said let my people go. Of course the pharaoh told him to get lost and God sent the plagues to make the pharaoh change his mind.
