There is still room for Grimes to win this.

Yeah, in your head, which certainly has plenty of room.

Go play with your Santorum, Roberts and Brownback dolls, okay? Bye, little boy.

Ah, the "Senate Collection." Not available: Alison Lundergan Grimes.

Say what you will about Grimes, but at least she's never lost a senate race to a bald guy.

As we all know, undecided voters always break for the incumbent provided he looks like a turtle

While I agree that Grimes winning would be a surprise, to rule it out completely given McConnell's inability to break away with the race is ludicrous.

I'm optimistic about McConnell's chances, but I suppose polls like this show he isn't going to put the race away by any means. It will be a close victory for him.

I have been saying all along that this race is more favorable to Dems than Georgia as well as Louisiana and Arkansas.

Don't give up on Grimes.

Why not? The DSCC did. Unless they come back with a new buy or are pulling a rope-a-dope, it seems like the Dems think the seat is lost.

McConnell is running ads on urban radio critical of Grimes for not saying if she voted for Obama. In the ad, he uses an African-American Obama voter, who says that Mitch cares more about African-Americans than Grimes does.

That's one slick little turtle. So not shocked. It takes a certain type to ascend to majority or minority leader.

McConnell has run probably one of the biggest race-baiting campaigns of this cycle.

DSCC is already back in.

Excellent news! Grimes is on track to retire turtle face.

Edit: Grimes trails by 3 among whites and 17% of blacks are undecided. Safe Grimes.

I'd like to hope so, too. It *is* true that minorities are often underpolled during midterm elections, so there may very well be reason to hope after all.

Georgia is definitely looking better, though.
