Oh yeah, they deserve poverty because they don't vote the way you vote, totally!

You don't get it, do you? McConnell has been Senator for 30 years and poverty hasn't gotten any better, yet they keep sending him back to the Senate. At least when Nevada sent Harry Reid back to the Senate, he had a record of saving jobs and getting results for the state.

It was always a hard race, it would have been nice to win, but it was never a guarantee. I was never as bullish on this race as Republicans were on Michigan, where Terri Lynn Land was destined to win, because she won election to the Secretary of State office.

Again, Kentucky deserves all the poverty it gets if they vote for a Senator who does nothing but grandstand. You get what you vote for. Grimes is too good of a candidate for such a messed up state, anyway.

And? Your point is? We actually have a budget surplus, good property values, good schools and a decent environment. That's a far cry from what Kentucky has, which is low quality everything.

Not shocked. This had all the markings of McConnell pulling away when the DSCC cut funding, only to go back in when it was allegedly closer.

It looks like that was fool's gold. Both parties have those states. It usually happens with Republicans in New Jersey or Pennsylvania in Presidential elections. The race tightens, everyone gets excited and then it goes back to where it should be.

As I stated earlier, given Obama's EPA policy that the residents feel is gunning for the coal industry, I am not shocked. A Democrat shouldn't win in Kentucky on the state-wide Federal level.

BUT SARKOZY WASN'T RE-ELECTED!!! How could this be true?

A swing of three points to McConnell (with undecideds obviously going to break for The Leader) and the Dems still think they have a decent shot here. Too precious.

A drop of sweat gradually forms on Keystone Phil's forehead as the most credible Kentucky pollster in over a month shows the turtle up a single point...

Love it, Krazen! I'm sure IS(IS) won't have a response for that!

That was clearly a joke, as you said the same thing to me in that thread I made about Scott Brown's stupid Ebola comment.

They're the inverse of King: they're state-level Democrats and federal Republicans.

She only beats McConnell among Democrats 64-29. That's why.

A state gets the type of Senator is elects. Absolutely garbage that Kentucky would choose McConnell over the fine candidate that Grimes has shown herself to be.

I guess they didn't want to commit an "election violation" by supporting the candidate that the Kentucky Republican party does not approve of.
