Ouch.

Looks like she might do worse than Lunsford....which is pretty embarrassing for all parties.

Well maybe she can run in 2016 against Paul. It'll be a better year.

I really need to take a piss but I can't because I'm waiting to hear Invisible Obama's opinion on the state of this race. Surely Ken Buck will lose???

If Hillary becomes President, she will get a higher office.

that makes sense because after this election her personal reputation in Kentucky is severely damaged

The problem isn't a candidate, it's that Kentucky is so far right of the country it's a non-competitive state. Hillary will be targeting VA, NC, FL and even GA but forget the rest of the south.

Another thing to mention is that at least by making an effort in KY, it forced the GOP to allocate more resources here. I wish they would have done the same in WV and SD.

This is the time during the campaign when our beloved pals on the left realize there aren't enough lifeboats on the Titanic.

It was always a hard race, it would have been nice to win, but it was never a guarantee. I was never as bullish on this race as Republicans were on Michigan, where Terri Lynn Land was destined to win, because she won election to the Secretary of State office.

Again, Kentucky deserves all the poverty it gets if they vote for a Senator who does nothing but grandstand. You get what you vote for. Grimes is too good of a candidate for such a messed up state, anyway.

Or that Mitch McConnell is a machine who destroys potential candidates for higher office in Kentucky. He wrecked Steve Beshear when those two ran for Senate against one another. He runs scorched to the earth campaigns, and it's clear that Grimes wasn't ready for it.

Only if Paul runs for president and it's an open seat. I doubt she could beat him head to head.

Haha, the excuses begin! Which Forum Republicans said Land was "destined" to win? I, for one, always said she'd lose. Michigan is our ultimate tease. I'm pretty sure RogueBeaver never believed we were going to win it either. So go ahead and name names unless you're talking about the national GOP.

Oh yeah, they deserve poverty because they don't vote the way you vote, totally!

What excuses? It's not like this was ever an easy or guaranteed race to win, that much was evident all along. Posters on here were bullish about Land, until the polls showed Peters leading consistently. Vosem and Oldies are just a couple of names, I think Oldies even went as far as to call Michigan "Republican leaning".
