Kentucky, Kansas, and Georgia, and SD all go to the dems. Republicans gain MT and WV. Everywhere else is D hold.

I don't go as far as suggesting a gain, but I do think we hold AK, CO and IA.

Maybe after some wine at lunch, this thread will make more sense.

I'm praying to every deity that you're right, but I really don't see it.

I don't think the Democrats need MT and WV. I think that if they get all the other close races - and I mean ALL of them - they gain seats.

But the odds of this happening are only about one in a zillion.

It feels more like there are multiple people on this account. He never responds to anyone who calls him out on his ridiculous nonsense.

You could have changed your terrible prediction, but no.

Don't worry, I'll be sure to remind the whole forum the moment you get a race wrong in this prediction that is probably more optimistic than that of Harry Reid.

Checking 538's forecast, I thought Nate Silver gave some not-incredibly-low number for Dems gaining seats. But...  it's 0.0%, rounded down that Reps win 44 seats. At least you can see the bar on the graph, I guess? It's about the same probability that Republicans win 58 seats.

I'd say maybe 0.5%.

In 200 elections like this, odds are it'll happen once.

The Cloud 9 feel I received upon reading this thread title and discovering that there were folks (that aren't even Democrats) who actually thought of this as a possibility was immediately shot down by the realization of how absolutely laughable this prediction is.

I think you're underestimating the Republicans chances in MT, WV, MS, and ME.

If it wasn't for the polls, I'd expect this to be the biggest Democratic year in recent memory.

If the Democrats win in Alabama, then I believe that boshembechle's prediction will come to fruition.

If the Democrats win one of the Oklahoma seats, I predict the Democrats will have a super-majority.

Earlier today you were criticizing Dems for being too hackish about Colorado polls.

Make up your mind! Tongue
