President Johnsons runs for another term and is nominated by the Democrats. He chooses Humphrey again as his running mate.

Meanwhile, the GOP convention is bitterly divided between Nixon, Rockefeller and Reagan. After douzends of ballots, Minority Leader in the House Gerald Ford of Michigan is choosen as a compromise candidate. He picks Spiro Agnew as his running mate.

In the end, President Johnson forces George Wallace to withdraw from the race.
