These events are really starting to get on my nerves. Don't hurt anybody else because your life isn't where you want it to be.

What's sad is each new occurrence will probably just encourage more losers to become copycats.   I still don't understand why we ever allow these people's faces to reach live TV ... we don't cover bridge suicides for a very specific reason, and while it's unrealistic to not cover this type of event, there is no reason to broadcast the identity of the murderer.

Literal “Balkanization” presumably came from some sort of actual ethnic identity. I shudder to contemplate why anyone should promote the strengthening of political barriers through actual borders. Government exists to let man live in common. If any disunion is to occur in an actual democracy, it ought to be mutual.

Yeah, because Western Civilization has been Christian for so long, people see Christianity as an ethnicity.  Cultural Christianity is terrible.

Yankee, you know I appreciate your commentary, but I don’t see the logic of throwing an effortpost at people that want to cos-play as a combination of John Calhoun and Mussolini and quite clearly do not care about rights or liberties.

I’m any case, hatred for Lincoln by modern “conservatives” seems to me to speak to hatred for the concept of America as a nation, but oh well.

The same way people who get flu shots still get the flu.

The point of vaccines isn't that if you're vaccinated you're forever immune to the disease. That's true of most people, but not all. And there are people who can not be vaccinated due to other medical conditions. However if everyone else is vaccinated, then that results in herd immunity. This is why not being vaccinated isn't defensible as "muh personal freedoms and choice!" sort of thing, it's a health risk that threatens others.

It is just like how they still throw around personal freedom to defend secondhand smoke and then attack the science.

No. Racist posts are not particularly common here, at least not the variety that is directed towards non-whites.
Racism is bad, but why is it treated with such stigma while other equally abhorrent and malicious  ideologies, such as socialism and intersectionality, are ignored?
Matthew should not have been banned, and the fact that he was so quickly defenestrated from this ivory tower despite no discernible offense is deeply troubling.

Racism is more malicious than socialism and intersectionality due to it's advocacy being an instrument more likely to result in the death of someone tonight if openly advocated.  I would agree that Fascist ideologies are far more likely to promulgate racist ideologies than Communist ideologies (although Communist ideologies have, when fully played out, resulted in massive deaths of political enemies).  

I will say that full-blown Communism is as evil as Nazism, and the death tolls of Stalin and Mao are nothing to minimize, but I will say that at the present moment, the alt-right poses a more immediate danger to the well-being of people, with the possible exception of radical Jihadist Islam.
