Remember, he's spent whole weekends watching meaningless blowout regular season games start to finish between D-II college opponents, but was not watching his local Dallas Cowboys in the NFL playoffs in the most thrilling, controversial, exciting game of the first round.

Freedom, since it was good luck.

Like I said in the Update thread, the writers sure do love irony. I feel like this has happened at least once or twice before too.

Makes sense, given that he's actually a terrible "sports fan."

The Lord didn't want Our Dear Friend to see the absolute thievery that occurred. Absolute thievery. The Juventus of the NFL.

The dreams of the denizens of blighted Detroit destroyed by the whims of a Texas billionaire.  A perfect metaphor for modern America.  Amazing that America personified would miss such an event.

It's a freedom occurance, for sure, if only for the irony.

Since our dear friend referred to Red Lobster as a local seafood joint.

So maybe he'd pull for his local Detroit Lions?

Oklahoma is in the Dallas NFL TV market.
So?  It should be up to Oklahomans to decide which team they'll root for, if any.  Carving the country up into TV markets is an antiquated relic of the days before it was possible to bring every single game into the home for people to choose for themselves.
